This shot is the b&w version of frost.
I must confess that this has a look of an IR shot but it really isn't - it is just frost with strong sun light from the right.

09. Sent to Chris in Switzerland. His profile mentioned that he liked black and white photography. This was the funnier of the two b&w cards I had so I thought it might spark a chuckle.
This I took a couple of weeks ago, some photos seem to work in B&W others don't....
I think this kind of works.....
These particular paddocks were striped of all grass and didn't have a dam. I really felt for these poor animals. The landscape was the dark red I would normally associate with central Australia. It still looks harsh even in the B & W version.
The B&W version of this photo. I like the bluish cast of the original, but for some reason I like snowy photos in B&W the best.
