I need a break from panoramas. They are hard work compared to photographing birds.
This osprey is returning from an unsuccessful fishing expedition. The evening light helped in the photographing of the wonderful wide range of beautiful underwing colours .... something I had been trying to capture for some time.

my son & I went for an early photo shoot in the desert..........at 9 AM it was already 90 degrees..........the final high reached a sizzling 99 degrees.......
