This shot was taken yesterday (8/5/08). We saw beautiful clouds and decided to pack up the dogs and take them to the beach. I set up in my usual spot overlooking Avila and what a great sunset it was.
was going through some unedited photos from last year at the folkestone air show. hope you enjoy. i used a lightroom preset for processing the original image appeared very flat.
Loch awesome - The truly of magical setting of Kilchurn Castle reflected in the mirror like, still and peaceful waters of Loch Awe.
A quintessentially Scottish location, experiencing dawn and first light at the loch is an unbelievably captivating and enchanting experience; one can only marvel in wonder at nature's raw beauty especially so when conditions are like this. One cannot fail to be moved when witnessing a scene as remarkable and special as this.
Dalmally, Argyll and Bute, Scotland
This phaleanopsis orchid had a total of 15 blossoms since last May, but now there are only seven flowers remaining. They have been much admired and appreciated, and hopefully they will last till Christmas. The orchid flowers are so pure in their white petals and are, in my opinion, one of the most 'organic' flowers in the world.

Some special news to share...Tim and I just adopted a little baby girl 9 weeks old and we named her Sicily...Sici (Sissy) for short! She is half Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and half mini poodle. I will be slowing down just a bit as she follows me everywhere and I'm on potty training duty and crate night training! I had three hours sleep last night...may have to break from my evening flower postings and I have so many more! Lol
it was an overcast day with rain in the air. fortunately, we remained dry and were rewarded with one of the most beautiful waterfalls in iceland. the black basalt columns are so spectacular and look almost man-made.
I know I haven't posted up a picture in quite some time, I've been so busy with both jobs these past few days! And tomorrow I am finally starting my photography program for the next month! So I definitely will be getting some more uploads in now. I took this a few days ago and thought it turned out pretty good. What do you guys think?
