People walking this morning in a park beside the River Dodder in Dublin: We haven't had such good autumn colours in years. In a glorious sunny morning , we walked under a golden canopy of sycamore and beech leaves.

Here we see a light rain washing over some changing aspen in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. What a great fall we had!
Our fall color came late and is nearly gone, compliments of several windy days.

Today is the 1st full day of Autumn 2010 and the colors are popping out all over. This autumn scene was taken at beautiful little Mabel Lake in Northern Vilas county in Northern Wisconsin.

This fall has been amazing for color and warmth....shirt sleeves and even wearing shorts during the day; scenic beauty in the Twin Cities is astonishing....the trees are holding their leaves.
I'm grateful.
On my way home from work today I decided to check out the colors around Lake Ellyn in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. The sun was out in full force and I was pleasantly surprised to find this scene.
