WO FLT refractor with 2.5x powermate and Grasshopper 3 camera

First attempt at combining separate HA, R, G and layers in CCDSoft. Final grading in Photoshop. Got to love the sensitivity of this CCD, it just sucks in the light.

I believe that when we cant find a decent composition we should try to create one. Well i tried. This shot was made with 20sec iso3200 and red light for the foreground and 6x20sec stacked for the milky way. Milky way stack, debayered, aligned and processed with pixinsight. Have a great month ahead my friends.

NGC2244 through my 420mm/f6.5 refractor. 2h exposure time with a mod. D90 with IR and Astronomik UHC filter.

Canon EOS 100D, Sigma DC ART 30mm f1.4, and Hoya Red intensifier filter; 12 exposures of 10s each stiched to pano with MS Image composite editor (LR couldn´t manage ?!)...

I always wanted to create that classic picture of the milkyway. I had my chance up in the mountain of Pindos. I used two foreground exposures to get rid of a car parked near the tent. Extra glow was used to creat a dreamy mood. Hope you like it!

Stunning Saturn!

This single photo was taken using a compact camera, hand-held to the eyepiece of an 8" Dobsonian telescope. (afocal technique)

When processing my photos, I try very hard to keep them as true to the actual image I viewed as possible.... colour brightness, etc.
