Cerro de los Siete Colores or the mountain of the seven colours is the main attraction of northwest Argentina. The best place to see these colourful mountains is at Purmamarca, a tiny village in Jujuy province of Argentina.

We got to Bariloche from the awe inspiring, stark cold landscapes of deep Patagonia. Though the weather was cold here as well, the trees, picturesque cosy houses and the colours felt warm and welcoming.

Perito Moreno glacier is the main attraction to visit from El Calafate, in the Los Glacier National Park. Area wise, it is bigger than the city of Buenos Aires! On first sight, we were stunned by the sheer magnanimity of the glacier and the various shades of blue that lay in front of us.

This is the first pier along the shore at Puerto Madryn. By sunset, all the adventure activities like snorkelling, kayaking and wind surfing come to an end. It is the peak winter now and the water is too cold to step in. People then just stroll along the beach hoping to catch a glimpse of the famous whales of Puerto Madryn.

A member of the Argentina national team flopped up on the deck and just needed to take a moment before getting up.

Argentina... my memories!

Buenos-Aires, Argentina

Iguazú Falls or Iguaçu Falls comprise a chain of hundreds of waterfalls nearly 3km in length on the border of the Argentine province of Misiones and the Brazilian state of Paraná. Together, they make up the largest waterfall in the world.

The falls divide the river into the upper and lower Iguazu. The Iguazu River rises near the heart of the city of Curitiba. For most of its course, the river flows through Brazil; however, most of the falls are on the Argentine side. Below its confluence with the San Antonio River, the Iguazu River forms the boundary between Argentina and Brazil.

Hello my friends, after a long break I try to get involved again. The time limit is unfortunately still low, but it goes forward.

Here I take a look back at the beautiful waterfalls of Iguazu, this time from the Argentine side.
