I saw this amazing moonrise while attending a wedding on Quadra Island, BC.
The following night I was so excited to capture another image like this one that I went running down the gravel path to the beach... and twisted my ankle quite badly. Ouch! As a result I am laying here posting this comment with a big bag of ice on my now *very* swollen foot. :{

This brickwork ceiling is in the stable block at Houghton Hall in North Norfolk. It seems amazing that this amount of detail was put into an area such as a stable.

Beautiful grand canyon on a late summer evening. The sun was setting behind us, and my wife and I were so overwhelmed. Definitely one of the most amazing moments of my life!
I almost missed this amazing alley off Morphett Street just before Light Square. It looks totally surreal, like a movie set.
An amazing show of light as the sun broke through dark clouds occurred over highbridge before sunset
Low cloud near Skaftartunga Iceland. This strange low sky formation became visible during a break in a snow storm.
Off and on today I heard bits of tributes and memorials to the 9-11 victims, and I heard "Amazing Grace" several times. It seems to me the perfect hymn for our national day of remembrance. This image, captured today, is my way of interpreting "Amazing Grace" visually. No fancy processing: this is slightly cropped but otherwise accomplished entirely in the camera. A single image shot of White Mountains shot from near Highway 168 southwest of Bishop, CA. Amazing geology in this area of the Owens Valley, including the rock clusters in the foreground, deep gorge (Chalk Bluff) of the Owens River in the middle and the White Mountains in the background.
If you turned around 180 degree this photo is the view.

I made this capture in an animal shelter of my city. This amazing green eyed cat is waiting for adoption, and unfortunately he is not the only one.
This is a crop of a bigger image, made with my 14 years old Nikkor 80 - 200mm f/2.8D ED. I love this lens !

I kept the right ones out
And let the wrong ones in
Had an angel of mercy to see me through all my sins
There were times in my life
When I was goin' insane
Tryin' to walk through the pain
When I lost my grip
And I hit the floor
Yeah, I thought I could leave but couldn't get out the door
I was so sick and tired
Of livin' a lie
I was wishin that I would die
It's Amazing
With the blink of an eye you finally see the light
It’s amazing and I’m saying a prayer for a desperate tonight

Perhaps you are sick of them, but the sunsets were amazing the few days I was out. Over the course of an hour the colors and patterns changed so that it looks like a completely different. I especially love that top half reflects the realist in me and bottom half the impressionist. Pickerel Lake, Oneida County, Wisconsin

On the way to work I saw this amazing sunrise colors so I hurried up to find a foreground subject and made this shot.
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretched like me,
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see..
T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear
The hour I first believed.
Through many dangers, toils and snares..
I have already come;
'Tis Grace th brought me safe thus far
And Grace will lead me home...
The Lord has promised good to me.
His words my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endure.
Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail
And nortal life shall cease,
I shalll possess within the veil
A life of joy and peace
When weve been here ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun....
We've no less days to sing GOD'S praise
Than when we've first begun

The Clock Tower is the world's largest four-faced, chiming clock. The structure is situated at the north-eastern end of the Houses of Parliament building in Westminster, London. It is often referred to as Big Ben — which is actually the main bell housed within the Clock Tower.
The Clock Tower has also been referred to as The Tower of Big Ben and, incorrectly, St Stephen's Tower, which is actually the spired tower towards the middle of the Palace and is also the main point of entry for attendees of debates and committees.
The tower was raised as a part of Charles Barry's design for a new palace, after the old Palace of Westminster was destroyed by fire on the night of 22 October 1834. However, although Barry was the chief architect of the palace, he turned to Augustus Pugin for the design of the clock tower, which resembles earlier Pugin designs, including one for Scarisbrick Hall. The design for Big Ben was, in fact, Pugin's last design before his final descent into madness and death, and Pugin himself wrote, at the time of Barry's last visit to him to collect the drawings: "I never worked so hard in my life for Mr Barry for tomorrow I render all the designs for finishing his bell tower & it is beautiful"[5]. The tower is designed in Pugin's celebrated Gothic revival style, and is 96.3 metres (315.9 ft) high.
The first 61 metres (200 ft) of the structure is the Clock Tower, consisting of brickwork with stone cladding; the remainder of the tower's height is a framed spire of cast iron. The tower is founded on a 15 metres (49 ft) square raft, made of 3 metres (10 ft) thick concrete, at a depth of 7 metres (23 ft) below ground level. The four clock faces are 55 metres (180 ft) above ground. The interior volume of the tower is 4,650 cubic metres (164,200 cubic feet).
Due to ground conditions present since construction, the tower leans slightly to the north-west, by roughly 220 millimetres (8.66 in) at the clock face, giving an inclination of approximately 1/250. Due to thermal effects it oscillates annually by a few millimetres east and west.
