Art thou a type of beauty, or of power,

Of sweet enjoyment, or disastrous sin?

For each thy name denoteth, Passion flower!

O no! thy pure corolla's depth within

We trace a holier symbol; yea, a sign

'Twixt God and man; a record of that hour

When the expiatory act divine

Cancelled that curse which was our mortal dower.

It is the Cross!

Music I♥

The starngest thought came to me on this morning

As I awake to greet the coming dawn

The sun was hardly peaking through the garden

It felt that with everything I was one

Then I wished that I could come back as a flower

As a flower

As a flower

How I wished that I could come back as a flower

As a flower

To spread the sweetness of love

To spread the sweetness of love

The dew had finished making love to many

A rainbow smelling sweet was in the air

I envied all the silence I saw growing

So unmoved by things outside themselves

Then how I wished that I could come back as a flower

As a flower

As a flower

How I wished that I could come back as a flower

As a flower

To spread the sweetness of love

Aristolochia littoralis or calico flower

Calico flower is an evergreen, climbing vine that can grow from 10 to 15 feet in length. Leaf blades are broadly cordate, 3 to 4 inches long and 2 to 4 inches wide. Flowers are very unusual, usually greenish yellow and dark blackish purple with a tubular shape and flared at the mouth. Borne solitary in leaf axils, the flowers can be found among the foliage and reach nearly 3 inches long.

Nice to have a taste of spring here yesterday before winter comes back to batter us this week.

DEEP breath.

Yes, it feels like Spring, with the mild temperature and no snow on the ground, and with the sun shining, I feel the spring is in the air.

Also called as Red Brazilian Tree Fern

This is one of the better known and more common species of Blechnum in warmer climates. It forms a small trunk. On some forms, the new fronds emerge a beautiful pinkish-red, making the fern very attractive.

Does not like excessive watering, but must not dry out, a free draining potting mix and a high amount of sunlight. This fern is tropical and is hardy to USDA Zone 9.

November!

Another autumnal impression from promenades in Allan Gardens here in Toronto, on a sunny day in mid November. This tree is huge, spreading its branches on a good portion of this side of the park... I liked how the sun played through the golden foliage, adding a blissful mood to the whole autumnal atmosphere :-)
