Without a doubt the best donuts I've ever had. Yes, I recommend this product.

Indian Lake and the Milky Way

Adirondack State Park

New York

Made a last minute decision on Saturday to go to the Lake Placid area to hunt for some fall colours.

We didn't find any Olympians or overgrown alligators but there was a ton of beauty, wilderness and colour. I was completely taken by this area and shocked that I've never even considered visiting it even though it's a mere 2 hour drive away.

We stayed mostly on Route 86 running from Lake Placid to Whiteface and I lost count as to how many times we pulled the car over to take shots. Around every corner was a new vista...a lake or stream, a mountain, a cascading waterfall, a was endless.

I'll definitely be back!

Thanks for looking.

This is my wife, Amy, and myself at Blue Mountain Lake in the Adirondack Mountains in New York. It's not like me to have my picture taken. Years ago I became a photographer so I would be on the other side of the lens.

It will be my last post for a while. We will be on vacation next week, but I will get back to everyone when we return. Thanks for all of your support and kind comments.

Practicing ICM in the Adirondacks, Lake Placid, NY.

Still trying to get the right blend of blur and reality.

Seventh Lake, Adirondack Nature Preserve, New York

I arrived about 5 minutes too late.

Round Pond, near Keene Valley, NY.

A break in the rain provided some dramatic light on the foliage, which was outstanding this year.
