An uninspired title but, i'm feeling uninspired:) this was the first shoot i did with an umbrella. i had just the yellow then, now, i have a bag of assorted colors. i hope everyone is well.

This was taken at the International Center for Birds of Prey in Newent, Gloucestershire UK. A dedicated bird of prey centre, it has the largest and most successful breeding collection of Falconiformes and Strigiformes (diurnal or day flying birds of prey and owls) and is most respected in the ornithological and scientific world of raptors. Its long-term conservation work is second to no other raptor centre worldwide. A great day out if you like to get close up and personal to avian creatures.

I'd decided against dawn on this particular morning (although it has to be said I did intend to catch this tree with a bit of mist at some stage when the rape was in full flower). However, my wife got up for ear lies at 5am, saw the mist and basically kicked my backside out of bed with the comments "You've been complaining there is no mist for ages, get off yer backside and get some pictures". Not being one to argue I set off down to this field near Whale village. Some better light coming through would have been better. By better I mean more specific but then again that wouldn't have allowed for such a diffuse feel to the image. Cropped to 617 as I quite like that format.
