St Pauls Cathedral in Sunset Glow

Weather was very moody and caught this.

Shot this early morning on 30.04.2017.

A Hazy Sky

This image was made on our way home from Northumberland on Sunday. All day the light had been a bit hazy to say the least, so wasn't expecting much of a sunset. I guessed if anything then perhaps it would be a kind of diffused orange glow, which is exactly what happened. This is one not too far from Rothbury, I just needed somewhere with a bit of height to give the view I was looking for.

Black Burn

Out this morning amongst the rain showers hoping for a bit of light to play with. We started the morning off heading down to Thirlmere and Keswick before heading back through the Eden Valley and up towards Hartside. The is up past Hartside on the way to Alston, with the Black Burn reflecting the constantly moving light and the Alston hills with some cracking clouds above in the distance.

Sandwood Bay

A view of Sandwood Bay near Kinlochbervie with its beautiful mile long beach with the impressive sea stack known as Am Buachaille at one end.

It is well worth the 6.5km walk to get to the beach to spend some time exploring some of the huge sand dunes and amazing rock formations.

Please feel free to leave any comments.
