I was bored because my brother had to wake me up at 5:30 this morning. So here is a Gatling gun and a DMR.

Reason behind the Gatling gun, I didn't want to wait for BA to start selling theirs :P

for Film Friday

Happy Thanksgiving from our table to yours!

Drew was resident photographer for Thanksgiving.

wandering around the dining room with my camera :)

I think that was my parents' wedding china. It's brown. Very 1974. I like that my dad and stepmom still use it.

Playing around today at my daughters house today before dinner. I wanted take some shots of her "Thanksgiving Dinner Table"

Grateful Lord for your Mercy and Blessings!

Our table for Thanksgiving, you can tell its a special occasion because I brought out my best Cowboy china...

We celebrated with family at my Sister-In-Law's home. As the table was being set, I pulled the camera out to get some pre-eating captures of the fine meal we had. I made sure I sat at this end of the table near my favorite, that was in focus ... nothing like the taste of sweet potatoes :))

My belly is still fool from eating ... the dessert table will follow :))

Thankful for Each Other

Dear Lord,

As we gather together around this table

laden with your plentiful gifts to us,

we thank You for always providing

what we really need

and for sometimes granting wishes

for things we don’t really need.

Today, let us be especially thankful

for each other--for family and friends

who enrich our lives in wonderful ways,

even when they present us with challenges.

Let us join together now

in peaceful, loving fellowship

to celebrate Your love for us

and our love for each other. Amen.

We were in a pinch for a TG table center piece, so we bought some fruit and I assembled this, though it was just one nudge away from calapse.

Shortbread.

This years' dessert (along with Chocolate Stout Cake from my kitchen and many other pies from other guests).

Getting ready!
