If it wasn't for the heat in Tucson I think I might move there. This is the view from behind my dad's house. I am amazed at how stark and beautiful it is, especially at sunset and sunrise.

Sabino Canyon trails

Tucson, AZ

I've got a lot of shots of this place much earlier in my stream (when, frankly, I was too lazy to use the manual settings on my camera). I think this is better than those, but it's still not *exactly* what I want. I will say, though, that I was annoyed with the clouds while shooting, but happy with them now.

A morning sky in north Tucson looking toward the Sabino Canyon Area. For summer heat relief locals head for the mountains where its 80 versus 100 degrees or more. Morning is a great time for a walk, bike ride or job along the many pathways that go by the dry rivers. Dry as a bone in many months bring lots of water whenever you go out.

This is outside of my comfort zone, but I guess one has to start somewhere.

One of the first images I made after getting off the plane in Tucson. We had stopped for gas right outside the airport area. I thought it was a good omen.

boss, I found a great hideout.

yeah? what's so great about it?

it'll never attract any attention, I promise.

ok, cause you know how much I hate standing out in a crowd.

yeah boss, I know.

and I hate red. you know that, right?

oh. yeah. gee, I forgot about that. say boss, I just remembered something.

yeah. about the new hideout. I'll get back to you.

ok, but don't take too long.

yeah boss. say, do we have any, you know, green paint around here?
