Ok last one of this series, some more good old West Coast sky on sand\water
Kind of addictive takng these shots so apologies if I've flogged them to the max. - Nazar you can have your mirror back now!
Used a bit of jiggery pokery in the form of HDR to increase the dynamic range as it was pretty large, hopefully didn't cook on high for too long there.

This believe it or not was my very first attempt at this sort of shot, taken many years ago now on 400asa b/w print film and that I have only just recently scanned in and used. That person is a friend of mine climbing over the foot style in the very early morning as those fantastic sunrays were beginning to appear. I just love this hope you all do?
we, are one of the same
our stories untold
running, waiting
for the skyfire to fall
our minds and our cries
share the pain
for we are nowhere at AL
but seek
a painting of the sun
hold it bravely
and it will become
casimir
in the dark
and then
the skyfire
will fall apart
There is one spectacle grander than the sea,
that is the sky; there is one spectacle grander than the sky,
that is the interior of the soul...
I don't want to mislead anyone...this was manipulated. I used "twist and pinch" to get this effect...the colors are real, the clouds are real. Then I enriched the the saturation very little.
Ok, I just really liked this one... I took both images the same day, but at different times. The sky got very dark then it went to this dull gray and I hated the way the hot air balloon looked against the blown out sky.... So I changed it... I know that it is very "photoshopped" looking, but I still like it and I hope that you all do as well!! Now, I'm off to study for a biology test!! Take care everyone!!
This is seriously best viewed large!!
This was taken on the 14th of October at the Timber and Balloon festival at Shawnee Park in Marshalls Creek, PA.
Let the sky fall, when it crumbles
We will stand tall
And face it all together

I almost missed my 'moon phase series' shot because of these clouds this morning. They passed over the CA Central Valley early and blew over the Sierras creating much needed rain.
The bridge over the Sky
Let's walk across the bridge and sing together to the sky!
Have a nice Sunday everyone!

I got tagged a white ago by Astig!!
I really like the people in silhouette in his shots.
Here I have to answer 5 questions.
1. What I like to photograph the most?
Lights.
2. What I like to photograph the least?
Things that aren't beautiful to my eyes.
3. Photography Peeves
Limitations of my point-and-shoot.
But I won't go for a DSLR.
You can't carry one around in your bag every day.
4. What I admire from other photographers?
Their love and sincerity to their flickr friends.
5. What I like to learn better?
Fast typing ;-) Sometimes it feels hard to respond all the friends and contacts who give me nice comments. I am about 10 days behind now.
On my way to work I came across this really cool sky. It lasted forever and I found this lonely tree, that I had photographed before, to be a nice background.
HDR of three +/-2 ev raw files.
