Reading by Moon Light with Koi

There comes a rich point in one's life where retrospectively one can look back at the many threads of choices made and choices lost that now make up the woven pattern of one's life. jana

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. There voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. (Psalm19;1-4 NIV)

One of my favorites, pulled from my archives. Taken while driving through New Mexico to Ariziona in February of 2011

The Bible is clear that Jesus is one person with two distinct, but undivided, natures: human and divine. This means, at least in part, that by adding sinless humanity to His deity, Jesus did not become less than co-equal with the other members of the Trinity.

Now listen, you who say,"Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money." Why you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say,"If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that." (NIV)

I had a request to put Scripture on some of my favorite images, so I will be adding some of my favorite verses. No comments are needed but if you want to, by all means, please do! Thanks for enjoying them!

Thank you visiting

There's a rumbling in the distance,

But growing closer every day,

And from all the signs around me,

I'd say the Lord is on his way!

For he tells us in the Scripture,

That like a thief at night he'll come

Catching many people off guard

And the countdown has begun.

All the efforts of the media

Seem to be of one accord:

You can have your cake and eat it,

Your own pleasure is your reward.

No one seems to care that one day,

Mankind will stand before the Lord,

Giving an account of their lives,

And their reaction to his Word.

For each day the rumbling's nearer,

Than it was the day before,

Please, won't someone heed this warning

His return is at the door!

While this period of his grace,

Means the door is open wide,

Won't you do yourself a favor,

Take his hand, and step inside.

Praise be to the Lord, for He has heard my cry for mercy. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to Him in song. (Psalm 28; 6,7)

Eph. 5:8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.

Jesus once said.:

John 12:46 - I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain in the dark.

I drew back the curtains this morning and this is what I saw.

I usually lean out of the window to get a better view - but there really was no need to reach over the sill this morning - this glorious light and colour just burst into the room and that was even before the sun had actually risen.

Maybe we need to draw back the curtains of our lives and not sit in the dark - we might be surprised at what ‘the light’ can do.

“In the last days, God says,

I will pour out my Spirit on all people.

Your sons and daughters will prophesy,

your young men will see visions,

your old men will dream dreams." -Acts 2:17

;;;;; O Lord my God, how great you are! You are robed with honor and majesty. You are dressed in a robe of light. You stretch out the starry curtain of the heavens: you lay out the rafters of your home in the rain clouds. You make the clouds your chariot; you ride upon the wings of the wind. Ps 104: 1-3

Sometime we stop thinking, stop loving, stop to behave like fools... like The Woodman!

Easter is not all bunnies and chocolate. Its a time to remember our Lord and Saviour, what he did for us on that cross. I used a picture of my bible for my post today, because of his never endlng love for us, and the bible reminds us of that. You can also check out my blog, lifeloveandfotografia.blogspot.com/

I linked this photo to www.arosynote.blogspot.com for photo friday. In this picture I used a couple of Florabella textures to create a more rustic look. I used my 18-35mm lens.
