If I could reach up and hold a cloud for every time you've made me smile, the entire evening sky would be in the palm of my hand.
Cease trying to work everything out with your minds. It will get you nowhere. Live by intuition and inspiration and let your whole life be Revelation.

I love the way the tulip opens to reveal its inner beauty
"...I have come to think that life is a far more limited thing than those in the midst of its maelstorm realize. That light shines into the act of life for only the briefest moment-perhaps only a matter of seconds. Once it is gone and failed to grasp its offered revelation, there is no second chance."
— Haruki Murakami (The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle)

We are all blessed
ones. Heaven is no longer in the clouds. It is right here, all around
us, everywhere; we must only open our eyes to see it."

According to legend, the appearance of the holy image of Saint Nicholas was in 1383. It happend here, on the shores of Velikaya (Great) river in the north of Vyatka region. Soon, the icon began making healings and miracles. Rumors about the miraculous image quickly spread throughout the county. Then the chapel was built. That times Russians only just bagan conquer of this land. Worrying of this icon made the people move it to the main city of the region in 1392. And the people vowed to bring the icon to place of the phenomenon annually. Thus was born one of the most ancient traditions of Vyatka land - Velikoretskaya procession (one of the longest and biggest in Russia).
Here's the view of Velikaya river right on that place. I've been here once before. And we visited these shores just yesterday one more time. It was just like a revelation! What a river, what a magic feeling of nature and sanctuary! Hope I was able to show a little of what caused such a delight in me.

"What is the meaning of life? That was all- a simple question; one that tended to close in on one with years, the great revelation had never come. The great revelation perhaps never did come. Instead, there were little daily miracles, illuminations, matches struck unexpectedly in the dark; here was one."
— Virginia Woolf (To the Lighthouse)

The light reveals itself from behind a passing cloud...
she flirted with life
and life flirted right back with her
as if all the universe
became more alive just for her
and everything felt her glow
in the dew
in the stars
in the colors of the sky
it all shone for her
bright as it could
in the hopes to catch her eye
take your time
you are coming home

Just some ancient artwork coupled with one of the best sunrises I’ve seen. The edge of a storm arrived at the perfect timing to light the sky up 360. I’ll let the petroglyphs do the remaining of the storytelling.
May the light be with you.

Village called Goura, in the mountains of Peloponese. The village is located in a mountain slope over a plain. From autumn to spring, this plain is covered by deep fog almost every morning. The photo is taken at 12 o'clock in the morning, when the mountain tops are transpiring behind the fog.
This is my first photo reaching explore's top 10. Thank you all!
"The Book of Life begins with a man and a woman in a garden. It ends with Revelations."
— Oscar Wilde
“Some photographers take reality...and impose the domination of their own thought and spirit. Others come before reality more tenderly and a photograph to them is an instrument of love and revelation.” Ansel Adams

I'm going to end up renumbering these when I'm done, I'm sure, since they're all related, but right now there's no particular order. The title is not a reference to the Book of Revelation, although that's a great place to look for enlightenment!!!
