As always, a photo each day for 365 days. All shot and edited using Apps on my iPhone 5.
The photo was taken using the camera App ProCamera for iPhone. The original image can be found below.
First of all I used the app Handy Photo to edit the image. This was done by cloning away the electrical overhead wires from across the top of the image and a couple of the signs from the pathway at the side of the Canal. Next I used the app Camera Awesome to apply a preset called Wax Paper, this was done to deepen the blue of the sky and the water, also to add a little texture to the overall image. After that I used an app Distressed FX to add some extra texture to the image using the Egret overlay and the Lade Texture. I then used the app Wood Camera to apply a texture called Aquatic 1. I also used the same app to add the Birds to the image using Frame number 7. Finally I used PhotoToaster to edit the image a little more by applying the Recover Highlights feature and by adding a Blue filter. I also used the same app to apply a Canvas texture and add the Shadow II frame.
The original photo was taken Today overlooking Coventry Canal near to Sutton Stop. A very still and peaceful looking Canal toady with only one boat on the water at the far end of the image, near to the bend.
