I thought the gulls and the trees were nice, but the sky was boring so I added a texture made up of one of mine and SkeletalMess's Aborigine - www.flickr.com/photos/skeletalmess/3230637861/in/set-7215...

We're inching closer and closer to the cap as we go into the future, but we're still not under the cap. But we're no longer in that situation where we're so far over that you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel.

This is the only decent-sized waterfall in Bushy Park, Dublin, and its flow depends on the amount of rainfall. This is a two-second exposure with my 100mm macro lens and a tripod.

Going through some of the unprocessed Yosemite shots and trying to work them in Lightroom instead of Photoshop as a learning exercise. This is 90% Lightroom and just 10% Photoshop. This is one of those images that might be worth your time to press the "L" key then the F11 key.
Oh this is also taken from the Tunnel View lookout. Just as the sun was going down a few clouds rolled in.
Star Trails over Park Avenue at the Arches National Park.
On our trip to the Arches I kept the Park Avenue to shoot at the last for the North Star was aligning almost at its center, perfect to get the circular trails about it.
But I did not account for the cold we had to face for getting the shot. Finally I decide to open the shutter and leave the camera on the tripod and wait in the jeep. But then we saw a bunch of deers around us presenting the threat of knocking down the camera. Thus I alone went and spent 50 chilling minutes for the shot (the idea was to wait for 1.5h but being from California makes you soft for cold).
Hope you'd like the photograph.
I am sure they moved as I walked past
and quickening my pace I went quite fast
the mist was forming and getting quite thick
I was not sure but it seemed mystic
as I turned around they all stood still
the branches were straight ~ up until
I started moving and then it appeared
that they started moving ~ then I disappeared ....................................... !

So I went out in the middle of the marsh beside the Nature Park off the side of the high way trying to get a photo of a falling tree and the night sky. I forgot the tide was going to rise, so the 45 minutes it took me to take the photo the small stream that I had to hop to get to where I was going turned into a huge stream. Anyway I'm soaked from jumping to get back to the car....
Another morning shot taken in the Sutton Street park as the snow was departing

a view of Park Avenue in Arches National Park on a lovely morning as the weather changed again. I do not know what the flowering plant in the foreground is but after a windy day, they are the same color as the sand.

Algonquin Park, Ontario
Some of the early risers out to capture the morning at Algonquin.
It's a shame sunrise happens so darn early in the morning!
Thanks for looking!
Kilnsey Park Fly Fishery is situated in spectacular surroundings. The two spring fed lakes are both approximately 1 acre in size and are open all year round, fishing well throughout the winter. The lakes are well stocked with hard fighting Rainbow, Blue, Brown and Golden trout.
