I went to reception the woman to the elevator and we rode up to the top floor where she showed me the room. It was really nice , clean and exclusivt .

I packed photo equipment out and assembled the stand , so it stood firm.

The blue hour had not yet announced his arrival .

Nor do the many lights on the harbor front was turned on yet, so I waited 30 min.

The bridge over the fjord between Aalborg and Nørresundby is a relatively neutral bascule bridge . Some might even call it boring. It is also the reason that few people think about that Limfjordsbroen actually opened way back in 1933. However, it has to be said that the bridge since its opening has been extended to cope with the increasing traffic.

Limfjordsbro with long history

The story of Limfjordsbroen dating back to 1865, when the first fixed link between Aalborg and Nørresundby was established . It was a pontoon bridge , which for 78 years, did traffic over the fjord until the current Limfjordsbro was ready . There had , however, already early in the century were plans for a "fast" connection between Aalborg and Nørresundby , but the project put the 1st World War stopped.

In 1930 , the work of establishing the current Limfjordsbro started. The building of the bridge was of great importance to urban planning in Aalborg and Nørresundby . Among other things, the main streets of the two cities put on because the strong currents in the fjord demanded that the bridge was perpendicular to the water flow.

Bridge on Highway 10 may be extended

In 1933, northern Jutland could then dedicate their new Limfjordsbro , but in the 1950s began to emerge capacity due to the increasing vehicular traffic . Therefore, the width of the bridge extended from the original 14.5 meters to the current 21.4 meters.

But already in the early 60s it was bad . The heavy traffic did Highway 10 through Aalborg Denmark's most trafficked road . The solution was to build a new motorway around Aalborg , and in 1969, the first motorists driving under the Limfjord in the new Limfjordstunnel who also was Denmark's first road tunnel .

The toll to cross the fjord

As a curiosity it can be mentioned that it actually cost money to get over Limfjordsbroen in the bridge's first year of life. Drivers mat with 35 kr. vehicle , while people on horseback escaped with 15 pennies. If you had live animals in their luggage , the rate was 5 cents per . pieces . In 1935 they gave up to charge tolls.

Limfjordsbroen a bascule bridge with a double bascule , so ships in the fjord can cross the bridge. And there are quite intensive traffic of ships through the fjord , so the bridge is up several times daily, each time giving long queues on both sides of the fjord. A major concern of the citizens of Aalborg is a third Limfjord connection - a project we 've been talking about for years, but there is still not something concrete out of the discussions.Attractively located catering and

This is one of those great eating places you have to know about are stumble onto . I ate a hamburger and fries that may have been the best I ever ate.

There was a couple with an older lady eating in there. The younger woman was her niece. She told me her aunt would be 103 in November and her favorite thing to do was go out and eat. That is pretty neat.

Oscar Ribeiro de Almeida Niemeyer Soares Filho (15 December 1907 – 5 December 2012), known as Oscar Niemeyer, was a Brazilian architect who is considered one of the key figures in the development of modern architecture.

Niemeyer was most famous for his use of abstract forms and curves that characterize most of his works, and wrote in his memoirs:

“ I am not attracted to straight angles or to the straight line, hard and inflexible, created by man. I am attracted to free-flowing, sensual curves. The curves that I find in the mountains of my country, in the sinuousness of its rivers, in the waves of the ocean, and on the body of the beloved woman. Curves make up the entire Universe, the curved Universe of Einstein.[4]

At the harbor house are many people waiting for the fireworks

The activities stretched over 3 days, but I decided to wait to go where it was full moon.

I ate first and did not leave until 2030 and without a car, as it is nice with a long walk along the harbor. I usually take the scenery from the top of a high-rise building at the bridge, but I was afraid the ships looked too small, so I went close to the ships. First I went up to a balcony in the newly built Music House at the harbor, but too little forgrund so I went again. A young music student tried to stop me at the entrance, but I managed to persuade him even if the closing time approached.

The start of the fireworks approached, and I placed myself at the UTZON CENTER,

Where 2 big sailboats lay moored here the huge Russian MIR.

Next to me, I saw a young woman's foot dangerously close to a tripod leg, so I had to keep an eye on it. Suddenly there was a man who said: Your stand is completely crooked!

It was correct what he said, but the horizon of the camera was not crooked.

I knew him already, so we agreed to meet up on the bridge where the picture was taken.

On my way there I walked past a stand where a singer and an orchestra played.

Suddenly I encountered a young woman who made me aware that the full moon had risen.

That was correct, so I hurried with the camera on the stand up on the bridge, where the full moon was very beautiful, but when I was going to take the picture, some clouds came.

However, I took many pictures as there were also many mirrors.

It was over midnight, so when I got past the restaurant ship PRINSES JULIANA,

I could not help going out on the newly constructed wooden bridge by the ship.

I took a number of pictures at different angles, and then went home along the beautiful waterfront. When I got home, I cleaned the equipment and went to bed for a couple of hours over midnight after an exciting photo tour.

How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being.

Dedicated To Kathryn Bigelow

It is surprising that no woman has won the Oscar award for Best Director in the history of the Academy Awards until yesterday. Kathryn Bigelow entered the history by becoming the first woman to bag the award at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards.

Bigelow has beaten her ex-husband James Cameron, who was also in the race for Best Director for his film Avatar.

I have been tagged by my lovely talented friend Rosalia to write 14 facts about myself.

Thank god its not 16, coz 14 itself took more brainstorming from me than thinking about an idea for 365 ;)

Before getting into that, lemme tell you i was **JUMPING WITH JOY** when Slumdog Millionaire won 8 OSCARS last night..!!! such a proud moment for every Indian.. !!! and do listen to this song from the movie if you havent already ! :) I am so glad to be born in the same era as A.R.Rahman..

O.K, back to me, so here they are, the 14 facts about me.. you are free to drop off in the middle ;)

1.I was born on the 5th day of the 5th month , and that makes me a Taurean.

2.I am very passionate, like all Taureans, about the things that I love and people I love.

3.I am very temperamental - means laughter, smile, sorrow, anger, tears, love, everything comes too soon :)

4.I am very finicky about doing things perfectly. If something didn’t turn out to be my kind of perfect, I get this itchy feeling in my heart , and will work on it till its perfect.

5.I am open to doing extreme things.. I did sky diving in 2007.

6.I am good at pencil sketching.

7.Playing darts is probably the only ‘sport’ I am actually good at ;)

8.I love movies. There is no such thing as a fav movie coz there are so many good ones out there. But “Life is Beautiful” is definitely one of the best ones ever.

9.My favorite actor is Johny Depp.

10.I love music, anything is fine! I am more bothered about the tune than the lyrics. Any dance number gets me moving.

11.My favourite band would be Metallica and favourite singer would be Dido. (but seriously, it doesn’t end there.. it could change tomorrow ;))

12.I love inexpensive jewelery, blings as you call it.. right now, I have 30 pairs of earrings, not considering the countless ones I have discarded.

13. I love cartoons - my favorites are Calvin&Hobbes, Dilbert, Peanuts, Asterix and Garfield.

14. My kind of humour is sarcastic humour. But I keep forgetting that not everyone likes sarcasm. ;)

~Happy Women's Day and Mimosa Flowers for You my Friends~

❦ Yellow Mimoza is the symbol of International Women's Day.

❦ It all started in Rome in 1946 -- of men giving their wives, mothers, daughters, and other women friends sprigs of bright yellow Mimosa flowers on March 8. Women have since also started to give Mimosa to each other. The flowers are intended as a sign of respect for the women and also an expression of solidarity with the women in their support for oppressed women worldwide.

❦ The Theme for the Women's day this year is "Empowering Women—Empowering Humanity " ,and it envisions a world where each woman and girl can exercise their choices, such as participating in politics, getting an education, having an income, and living in societies free from violence and discrimination" according to the official United Nations statement.

 Happy Sunday and Women's Day

NB: Acacia (Mimosa),is a word of Greek origin which means guileless Did you know that my friends ?

We are guileless,however,it's a euphemistic word ... Are you mystified ... ? lol ... They want to propitiate us,they offer A-cacia flowers ... A=non- ill will ...
