Inside the Gallapfels (also Folii Galle or Blattgalle called) is a larva, from which in the autumn then the always female insect hatches, which puts ever a unbefruchtetes egg into the vegetation cone of the oak bud. This wintered there and forms starting from spring bud-close-budding close all (Taschenbergii Gallen) out of those then in June both for males and females of the calibration close all wasp slips. The fertilized females placing then again eggs with the help of the putting prick into a vein of the oak sheet. From a defence reaction of the oak the diseased rampant growth around the putting place, which is called due to the sphericalness Gallapfel, results.

wish you a glowing red autumn week :-)!

Wishing everyone a happy weekend. Thanks in advance for visits, fav's and comments. :)

A hardy fuchsia flower, caught in a glimpse of sunshine! (do know how rare that is here these days?!!!). Better viewed larger.

I believe it's Fuchsia magellanica, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

The three grand essentials to happiness in this life are something to do, something to love and something to hope for. Addison

Sorry I am behind on my commenting, work is full on at the moment!

Here’s another Sparks Lake shot…..This was sunset from that same day as the previous image.

This evening started very dull. Windy…no reflection, no clouds, no color…..just not great…but then came the big blessing and the wind died…the clouds showed up and BAM! For about 10 minutes we had the neon light show. It was sweet. It was truly amazing to sit and watch….nothing to something in minutes.

This shot is also dedicated to Stephen Oachs…who spent three days there wearing a dent in his motorhome seat….and using the public restroom.

I’m off for some camping this weekend with the wife and some friends…I’ll be trying to find some place sweet for photography.

I’d tweet all about it if I had a cell phone.

(I lost 4 followers….tsk tsk. Maybe they realized I wasn’t going to get a cell phone. BUT…I did walk by the cell phone store the other day….so I’m getting closer…)

The website is IN THE PROCESS of being updated…so you’ll want to get signed up for the mailing list to assure you find out when…so you can get in on all the goodness.

While the August workshop is full….we’re still booking for the September and October workshops…which are filling quick.

You can face book me as well….if you’re totally into hearing about me mowing the lawn or picking up dog poop….because that’s how I roll most every day.

If you’re out shooting this weekend….here’s to good skies, and good clouds.

Please, please please no graphics with your comment.

Walking in the forest

Flowers are like nature's bling to me. They add the special touch. Grand Tetons two days ago.

A perfect pincusion in the world of nature, this is my version for 2008

Pine needle , leaf caught in water. The most interesting thing about this image was this ..Most of the leaf , and the pine needle was submerged in water and it gave a filter effect ..The one part of droplet on the leaf was not submerged in the water and gave the true color of the leaf...

Nature has her own way of Art.

And every day she creates.

Thanx my dear friends , appreciate your supoort :) I wish there was some way of showing my gratitude for all you have done for me :)

Nature's little delights...

Thanks to *** TIERRA MADRE ***

The soft light seems to caress the old tree as she reflects Nature's beauty in the water. Taken after a long climb to a "special place" where they say "The Ancients" used to meet; during one of my "discovery trips around Portugal" with the gracious help of my friends. So I want to share this moment with all you you my dear Friends and Contacts.

Enjoy and have a great week!

Life is a Mushroom, Some are Good and Yummy And Some are just No Good At All.

Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart.

She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger.

She calls her family together within her inmost home

to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth.

You do your work as a photographer and everything becomes past. Words are more like thoughts; the photographer's picture is always surrounded by a kind of romantic glamor - no matter what you do, and how you twist it.
