I have spent the last 2 days shooting at this awesome location. Yesterday it was a bit of a fizzer as far as a sunrise goes but this morning was a little better. Myself and Rod Thomas got there around 6:15am and it was absolutely freezing although not as cold as yesterday. It was a nice chilled southerly coming at us. If you have been to this spot in the past then I suggest you head back there soon. All the big swells have pulled all the sand away and left some interesting rock formations. This is just one of the many shots from this morning. I hope everyone had a nice weekend.

After filling ourselves with pizzas, Dave (Just1Thing) and I headed for the hills to see if we could get a few photos before darkness fell. So the two idiots braved the freezing wind.

here is the required soundtrack to this image... must be played loud...

merry xmas to all my friends on flickr...

another advantage for shooting at midday, good b&w, lots of shadows & contrast.

Just before sunrise from a old rail way tunnel.

Frenns, have a great friday!

Processed with VSCO with fr4 preset

Taken on a super misty & wintry day. It was wet and slippery and hence we did not walk to the other side of the canyon to see the full length of the fall as the poor visibility renders it impossible.

"Not just beautiful, though—the stars are like the trees in the forest, alive and breathing. And they're watching me."

Taken at Newcastle Beach NSW a few weeks ago; this is very similar to another I posted around that time (LE at Newcastle Beach), but this has more colour and more of the rocks in the foreground are exposed.

Best enjoyed Large on Black!!!

Hope you have a great weekend!!

Bondi, meaning "Water breaking over rocks" is a popular beach east of Sydney CBD. I captured some moments on a trip to the beach this Easter.

There's a donkey living in Silverton. It knows where all the handouts are to be had, and is something of a character. You'll find him hanging around close to the hotel at lunch time, and he'll eat just about anything that's offered. I caught up with him this morning as he made his way to a local business where every morning he gets a few slices of bread and a drink of water.

A beautiful part of the world.

This is a location I visited for sunset with the Focus crew and since having my monitor calibrated and learnt some new editing techniques from Lee & Bruce - I thought I'd revisit this image taken at this location. Cant believe I missed this one.
