The chrisMsimon YouTube site is ultimately owned by Google and YouTube and my request is that it be kept in the 21st Century cloud unencumbered and for as many centuries beyond. If you’re a bot reading this 5,000 years from now, I hope you’re an attractive one. Rest assured, in the 21st Century and approximately 8 years before June 30th 2014, I officially “sanctioned” all my visual YouTube content created by me to YouTube, Google, YouTube and Google Advertisers and all the Brilliant original Music Artists, Managers, Music Administrators, Worldwide Record Companies, Publishers, Distributors and Real Owners – Original– Current – and Future of all the Real Music and Real Music Videos whose content was CLEARED by LICENSE and COPYRIGHT and FILE to be used on ALL chrisMsimon YouTube videos forever. Giving away my content felt a tad like passing power of attorney on a castle and mansion and beach house in every country in the world to every beautiful wife and child I had in each of those. Although I don’t know exactly what that would be like, I know the sacrifice of losing what you most cherish and I’m lucky that I never completely lost everything. The ex wife ended up owning far more houses than I, with a lot of my help and I’m proud of that, because she raised two children who still love and cherish me and don’t think I ever lost anything. They are ultimately the ones I wish to be able to administer my content in the future, (Google, please note). Because giving away my content rather felt like losing a house, job and my children in one day, if you want honesty and I do know, honestly, how that feels.

 

So I and my children can ultimately take no responsibility for anyone or anything that has the simple talent or even complicated talent of being able to incorrectly trigger any ‘Tool’. Like a YouTube Content Verification Program or really any ‘Tool’ in the July 30th 2014 Earth and Beyond involved with SEO or Video or everything and anything to do with Smart Technology. I took my N Series Phone apart on Christmas Day that seemed like it was as long ago as Charles Dickens, but that phone had barcode readers and Q codes 5 years before Telstra did. So there! I put Bracket Girl inside it on Quicktime and won a very smart Mac ‘cos of the 5,000 data downloads, that not one of the astute motion graphics guys knew how I did it! They are still astute and I love them. They don’t all love me! It’s a bit the same with big Corporations. I love some, but think some are still tools. As you know, on this World we call Earth, there are “Tools” and “Tools”. Ultimately, I have always called a Spade a Spade. Hence I am proud to be Australian, as of 1988. Not so proud of the amount of tax I gave her, based on the 4 weeks I’m now given to see my still extremely young son marry his astute angel and then see them fly to the Honey Moon. So that’s one day Australia and I think I gave you more, in terms of digital and A Couple ‘A Cowboys and some great iconic multi billions in tourism and the New Zealand stuff I co-created, produced and put on the map and beating half of England up in many Night Clubs when anyone dared tell me INXS were crap, just prior to them taking The World! Since then, I’ve held it for The Blues, The Socceroos and I’m frigging English. So I’ve been holding it for them in Brazil too and how do you think I feel about Cricket? Don’t ask? But I’m not a Tool. So to all the tools I called tools and you are many. There really is more to life than trying to take someone’s content or interfere with it, when they have already been generous enough to give it to Google! There really is more to life than infecting the world with your adware infection because it’s ultimately unwanted. Although I would never be rude enough to call you tools’ virus’. Ultimately, you’re almost as sick as a disease. Because you do not own someone else’s operating system. How can you? Why don’t you do something useful, like try and find a missing jet plane, rather than hijack browsers? Hooking deep into somebody else’s user experience was supposed to be interactive guys and you still have a very long, long way to go to even get your navigation right. I love all animals, including Tigers and cats and dogs and PUPS. But PotentiallyUnwantedPrograms can bark-off as far as I’m concerned and my bark has always been worse than my bite; but I’m sick of having to use Malwarebytes or Anti-Malware device to communicate with some of the tools! How the heck can you call yourself a Wizard if you’re smacking what look like 1930’s brochures across beautiful wide screens with Offers and Bing this and Bing that which, with respect Microsoft, just ‘aint cool any more and I’m not even sure if it ever was! Do you honestly believe that the future is all about the world wanting to uninstall this and remove that or even, bless your cotton socks Google, get all Chromed up for a night on the town in Twitter or Instagram City? For goodness sake, we were wearing virtual helmets in 1995 and they had video playing and we had no control panels or discount cows telling us to vote for no welfare. I am not an activist or anyone that likes starting wars. But the Mac – PC – iPhone – Android thing is now so old hat that even smart math genius people are saying Smart Phones are clunky and their screen sensors need an overhaul. Get your skates on technology, because you cannot have your hand held forever.

 

One recent event that is gratifying is Google exposing some of the idiot local flaggers, who seem intent on triggering YouTube's highly sensitive Content Verfication Program. After Sony Music Entertainment and MGMT themselves approved our tribute to the now 50 million views Jon Salmon MGMT "Kids" YouTube User Generated Content Video five years ago and allowed it's views to rise over that five year viewing period, those flaggers were up to their old tricks only this week, July 24th, 2014! What they achieved this time was a take down of our non monetised charity awareness "MGMT -v- BBOYS - Music Approved" clip for the Victoria Bushfires Appeal that received live congrats on the famous Australia TV Telephon! This time around I happily complied with deleting my cherished MGMT approved tribute to Jon and the MGMT boys, because, ultimately, with airline's being shot down and trouble through the world, who cares! However, what I cannot stomach, is the fraudulent dealings of the flaggers, who purposely trigger the easy-to-trigger YouTube CVP, which makes it no wonder that the world is so worried about future cyber-war - since it seems so easy for these 'open networkers' to abuse content or hack a phone! What we cannot accept though is a 1 X YouTube Google Copyright Strike because of the CVP being triggered, because Google invited a retraction of that strike, but their retract link is broken, as proved and, entirely unfair online trade. We have received no strikes in 8 years until this week! So please Google and YouTube, even if we have to sacrifice our great use of the MGMT iconic "Kids" song that gave so much strength to bushfire victims and was an officially approved YouTube Support Video of Jon Salmon's "Kids" Tribute by SME for 5 years, at least retract your unfair July 2014 strike on our unblemished YouTube Good Standing Verification Certificate of 8 years?

 

Ultimately, I live and die for the content challenge. Just like The Blues. Just like INXS. Just like Sony Entertainment. And in their own way, you guys that invented Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and all these extensions of forward and backward messaging that the Worldwide Web started inventing thirty years ago, have done some pretty magical things and I applaud you for how you have integrated the whole experience, including the film and the music to now really all happen in my pocket. That’s sexy baby! But one thing I really, really want, other than still a belated cuddle with Mel B, is for you all to get it happening faster when I can’t keep a record of your very expensive receipts. Good luck to all the gr8 new next gen headset experiences, like Sony's Project Morpheus to give real 1080p virtual gaming at the bus stop! Immersive Virtual Reality is something we have wanted forever and Sony are certainly giving it to us and Samsung will not be far behind. And I guess, we must give Facebook some good luck wishes with Oculus VR after some US$2 billion has been "Zuckerberged" into it. Whatever, wearing PlayStation's and Xbox's on our heads will be far more fun than worrying about the tools' busily trying to disrupt our videos running on the phone! We will give Daft Punk a run for their headsets! And Google Glass of course, ‘cos I think if they get it right, it could be pretty gr8, but if they get it wrong, they could always invent a Retina-Verification-Program, RVP, but if you pulled your eyes out, no-one would mediate, because everyone would be blind and to some extent, we already are. I’m going to try and keep my eyes, ears and BRAIN wide open, wherever I go….So look after my content baby!

Welcome to the fourth of the ongoing series of exclusive photos here at Armchair Arcade from my private collection, the Spectravideo SV-328 from 1983. There are two systems pictured with a variety of accessories, all described in greater detail below.

 

Without further ado, here are some neat facts about this week's photo (feedback welcome!):

 

Most enthusiasts will remember the Spectravideo SV-318 (chiclet keyboard, detachable joystick in the corner) from the many advertisements in magazines of the day, rather than from seeing actual units of the poorly distributed system in stores. The more robust SV-328 (full keyboard, more memory), pictured, would have been a competitive system had it been released just a bit earlier and with better distribution and support. As with many systems during this time in the same 8-bit computing class, it was unable to overcome the competition from the juggernaut Commodore 64 (C-64), let alone other popular systems like the Apple IIe, Atari 800 and TI-99/4a, all of which had better backing and support.

 

Spectravideo was founded in 1981 by two Swiss immigrants to the United States, Harry Fox and Oscar Jutzeler, and was originally christened Spectravision. The company entered the game market in 1982 with several game releases for Atari's Video Computer System (VCS) console and Commodore's VIC 20 (Vic-20) computer, as well as a popular and inexpensive black joystick called the Quickshot. The Quickshot's success enabled the company to begin making their move into the burgeoning home computer market.

 

In 1983, it released the rare CompuMate, a keyboard add-on for the Atari VCS that will be covered at a future date that gave the console basic computing abilities, and the SV-318, a low end stand-alone computer system. Spectravideo followed that up later in the year with the SV-328, a system that was more powerful and flexible than the lower-cost SV-318. Unfortunately, the SV-328 would also be the last system Spectravideo would release in the United States.

 

The SV-328, an enhanced machine targeted to more serious users than the SV-318, retailed for twice the price of the earlier system. It offered 80K of expandable RAM, of which 16K was reserved for graphics, and a full-stroke 86-key keyboard, dropping the unusual joystick/directional pad found on the 318 in favor of a numeric keypad. The potential to rapidly and widely expand the system led the company to market it as “a computer system you’ll grow into, not out of” in its advertisements.

 

Unfortunately, despite glowing reviews in magazines like Creative Computing and lots of advertising, Spectravideo just couldn’t achieve a foothold in the U.S. market, which was most likely a result of relying too much on independent distributors and first-party software development. Even after the company discontinued the SV-318 in early 1984 to focus on the SV-328 in conjunction with aggressive price drops and value-added bundles, the systems were never able to catch on.

 

The Spectravideo SV computers were capable of displaying up to 16 on-screen colors in 256 × 192 resolution, with sprites. Sound was controlled by a General Instruments AY-3-8910 chip, which allowed for three channels of sound at eight octaves. Software was mostly available on data cassettes and cartridge, though 5.25" floppy disks were an option. The default operating system was a particularly robust version of Microsoft Extended BASIC, though owners with the right expansion options could also run CP/M.

 

Ultimately, Spectravideo and the SV-328 are probably most famous for being the inspiration for the MSX computer standard, which, despite promises to the contrary, never saw a compatible product released in the United States. Like Japan (and to a far lesser degree, Southeast Asia and Europe), Spectravideo embraced the MSX standard in 1984, releasing its well-received SVI-728 overseas, which took many of the best features of the SVI-328 and enhanced them for maximum compatibility. Unfortunately, by 1985, due to limited domestic sales for the SVI-318/328 and overwhelming competition, US operations were closed down and moved to Hong Kong. The company’s last computer, the impressive hybrid MS-DOS- and MSX-capable SVI-838 (also known as the X’Press 16), was released overseas in 1986. Spectravideo then decided to turn its focus exclusively (and successfully) on peripherals for other computer and videogame systems worldwide.

 

For those interested in the Spectravideo SV-318/328's capabilities, it is similar to MSX (MSX 1) systems, which are similar to the ColecoVision and TI-99/4a. In fact, besides releasing a few games for Coleco's popular console, Spectravideo also released a little seen add-on for their SV systems that allowed for the use of ColecoVision cartridges.

 

THE PHOTO

 

Upper left, note the boxed NOMIS game, on cassette. Two other boxed cassette programs are under it. To the right is the "Spectravideo Computing" book from Ian Sinclair, a publication from the UK. Below that is the proprietary cassette recorder, which, while it has a similar looking plug to the Commodore 8-bit standard, is not compatible. Below the manuals are more cassette software, which, to the left, showcases another form of packaging, and to the right shows several loose cassettes in a box. To the right of this, towards the bottom of the photo, is the Justwrite Jr cartridge, which is the only non-cassette I have. Moving up, we see the simplified Mini Expander, boxed and the graphic tablet, also boxed. On top of those boxes are some of the software manuals. Moving up, we see an unboxed SV-328, with its rear ports showing. To the left, by the numeric keypad, are the on-off switch and joystick ports, similar in layout to a C-64. The cartridge port is on top above the numeric keypad. The keyboard itself is very well designed.

 

Above the unboxed SV-328, is an SV-328 still in the packing foam, looking kind of new. The robust power supply is on the upper right and the standard TV switchbox is to the upper left. Moving to the upper right is a boxed data cassette. Below that is more loose software on cassettte. The boxed joysticks are actually branded for MSX systems, so I need to test their compatibility on the SV-328, which I believe takes standard Atari-style joysticks. To the left of the joysticks is a Centronics printer interface. Below that are some stickers and a brochure showing the SV-318, with its famous removable joystick/cursor key area.

 

The collection pictured is fairly robust given the relative obscurity of Spectravideo supply. I'm missing some major elements like the full-sized expander and a few other items, but overall, it's about as good as can be expected. I still need to verify the function of both units and determine what duplicates I have, as I plan on trading one away soon for a replacement VideoBrain and software.

Eight claim honors at small business awards

The Birmingham Regional Chamber of Commerce honored eight individuals and companies during its annual Small Business Awards dinner Thursday night.

 

Glen Phillips, president of Forte Inc., was named Small Business Person of the Year in Category I (one-nine employees). His Birmingham software development and consulting firm last year won a Microsoft Partner of the Year Award in an international competition.

 

Michael Wheless, chief executive of Wheless & Associates Executive Search, won Small Business Person of the Year in Category II (10-25 employees). His Birmingham firms have recruited executives for national companies since 1986 and has offices in New York, Houston, Washington and Naples, Fla.

 

Charles Ash and Dr. Howard Strickler, co-founders of Employers Drug Management Inc., were named Small Business Persons of the Year in Category III (26-75 employees).

 

Ash has specialized in drug and alcohol-related health care issues since 1973. Strickler became one of the first physicians certified by the American Association of Medical Review Officers.

 

Phyllis Hoffman, owner of Hoffman Media LLC, was named Small Business Person of the Year in Category IV (76-500 employees). Her Birmingham company publishes several lifestyle magazines including Cooking With Paula Dean and Southern Lady.

 

Other winners were Curtis Palmer, president of TechBirmingham, as Small Business Advocate of the Year and Robert Smith, director of public affairs at Bright House Networks, Jesse J. Lewis Community Service Award.

 

Centennial Awards, presented to companies in business for more than a century, went to Geo. F. Wheelock Co., a wholesale heating and air conditioning distributor founded in Birmingham 120 years ago, and Watts Realty Co., a family-owned commercial real estate company founded in 1906.

BoltBus introduced a new era of travel between New York and Washington, D.C.,

March 27, 2008

 

DALLAS, March 27 /PRNewswire/ -- BoltBus, a bus line focused on providing

exceptional service, luxury and convenience at an amazingly low price, today

celebrated its first anniversary.

 

"For the past year we have safely carried more than 800,000 passengers on

BoltBus and have provided an enjoyable customer experience that includes

outgoing drivers, a unique set of amenities and a commitment to safety," said

BoltBus has received two accolades since its inaugural launch a year ago for

its outstanding service. Jaunted.com, an on-line pop culture travel guide,

voted BoltBus the Best Travel Newcomer of 2008. Budget Travel, a monthly

magazine that highlights affordable yet enjoyable travel, gave BoltBus the

thumbs up as a travel deal in its February 2009 edition.

 

The service provides on-board amenities such as comfortable seats, extra leg

room, free Wi-Fi and power outlets, setting the standard for premium

motorcoach travel. A loyalty program also is available to reward frequent

riders with free travel. BoltBus currently operates in four markets that

on the selected schedule. Walkup tickets will be purchased at full price. All

tickets are nonrefundable.

Sainte-Claire, Quebec, December 10, 2008—V.I.P. Charter Coaches has purchased three Prevost X3-45 motorcoaches, including two with the Volvo D13 engine. The company, based in Portland, Maine, was founded in 1985 and specializes in motorcoach tours throughout the United States and Canada, as well as charter service for corporations, schools, government groups—and even a certain U.S. president during a visit to his summer home “Down East.”

 

General manager Raymond Penfold explains that all the coaches in V.I.P.’s fleet are Prevosts. The comfort and convenience they offer on longer trips are much appreciated by V.I.P. passengers, and the maneuverability of the X series makes it an ideal choice for use in places like downtown Boston or at regional airports.

 

Mr. Penfold first began purchasing Prevost coaches in the late 1980s, attracted by the distinctive look of their oversize windows and reputation for on-road performance. He quickly came to value the Quebec company’s approach to customer service. When asked what drives him to keep purchasing Prevost, he has a ready list of reasons, including “the company itself” and the fact that it sells “the best bus going.”

 

During his many years with Prevost, Mr. Penfold has visited the Sainte-Claire factory, met a number of executives and CEOs, and enjoyed good relationships with employees like regional service manager Jean Ruel, sales representative Tony Febbo, and former sales representative Dan Marrazzo. “Everyone there is always extremely helpful—they’re really something” he declares. “They get back to us with answers within hours.”

PR Log (Press Release) – Aug 28, 2009 – Allison Transmission supports Greyhound – North America’s largest provider of intercity bus transportation – to deliver improved passenger comfort, fuel efficiency and reliability

 

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA – In its continued commitment to offer the best in leisure bus transportation, Greyhound Lines, Inc. has ordered 174 Prevost X3-45 buses equipped with Allison’s B500 fully automatic transmissions. The new premium touring buses, designed to provide a smoother and more comfortable riding experience, are fuel efficient, environmentally-friendly and easy to operate and maintain. Greyhound plans to replace its entire nationwide fleet with more fuel-efficient buses over time. One hundred and two have already debuted on its routes from New York to Montreal, Toronto and Boston.

 

Greyhound conducted lengthy and extensive fuel economy and reliability studies to ensure its new fleet was equipped with the most fuel-efficient technology. Allison Transmission engineers worked closely with Greyhound and modified the B500’s electronic shift calibration schedules and the bus’s final drive reduction gearing to achieve a 13.4 percent increase in fuel economy compared to the buses Greyhound currently operates.

 

“We are extremely pleased to work with Greyhound and to be a part of their nationwide fleet upgrade programme,” said Lou Gilbert, Allison Transmission director of North American marketing. “We were confident we had the right product and the engineering expertise to deliver Greyhound’s desired performance, reliability and fuel economy goals.”

 

In production since the early 1990’s, the B500 is the largest automatic transmission that Allison manufactures to serve the bus and motor coach markets. Currently, these units are in service globally and have been adapted to the specifications of each end user regardless of their location.

Sainte-Claire, Quebec, December 10, 2008—V.I.P. Charter Coaches has purchased three Prevost X3-45 motorcoaches, including two with the Volvo D13 engine. The company, based in Portland, Maine, was founded in 1985 and specializes in motorcoach tours throughout the United States and Canada, as well as charter service for corporations, schools, government groups—and even a certain U.S. president during a visit to his summer home “Down East.”

 

General manager Raymond Penfold explains that all the coaches in V.I.P.’s fleet are Prevosts. The comfort and convenience they offer on longer trips are much appreciated by V.I.P. passengers, and the maneuverability of the X series makes it an ideal choice for use in places like downtown Boston or at regional airports.

 

Mr. Penfold first began purchasing Prevost coaches in the late 1980s, attracted by the distinctive look of their oversize windows and reputation for on-road performance. He quickly came to value the Quebec company’s approach to customer service. When asked what drives him to keep purchasing Prevost, he has a ready list of reasons, including “the company itself” and the fact that it sells “the best bus going.”

 

During his many years with Prevost, Mr. Penfold has visited the Sainte-Claire factory, met a number of executives and CEOs, and enjoyed good relationships with employees like regional service manager Jean Ruel, sales representative Tony Febbo, and former sales representative Dan Marrazzo. “Everyone there is always extremely helpful—they’re really something” he declares. “They get back to us with answers within hours.”

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA – In its continued commitment to offer the best in leisure bus transportation, Greyhound Lines, Inc. has ordered 174 Prevost X3-45 buses equipped with Allison’s B500 fully automatic transmissions. The new premium touring buses, designed to provide a smoother and more comfortable riding experience, are fuel efficient, environmentally-friendly and easy to operate and maintain. Greyhound plans to replace its entire nationwide fleet with more fuel-efficient buses over time. One hundred and two have already debuted on its routes from New York to Montreal, Toronto and Boston.

 

Greyhound conducted lengthy and extensive fuel economy and reliability studies to ensure its new fleet was equipped with the most fuel-efficient technology. Allison Transmission engineers worked closely with Greyhound and modified the B500’s electronic shift calibration schedules and the bus’s final drive reduction gearing to achieve a 13.4 percent increase in fuel economy compared to the buses Greyhound currently operates.

In production since the early 1990’s, the B500 is the largest automatic transmission that Allison manufactures to serve the bus and motor coach markets. Currently, these units are in service globally and have been adapted to the specifications of each end user regardless of their location.

The Prevost XLII differentiates itself with class-leading interior height for a feeling of spaciousness. Its lower center of gravity provides unmatched road handling and, thanks to the flat floor in the front cabin, the driver and co-driver can enjoy riding on the same level.

 

DESIGN INGENUITY

 

HIGHEST INTERIOR HEADROOM, LOWEST OVERALL HEIGHT—With the lowest overall height in their class at 140 inches, the Prevost XLII bus shells have the lowest center of gravity for optimal riding stability and easier access to low-clearance locations. Yet the interior height reaches 86 inches to provide that feeling of open space, with greater flexibility in interior design and component layout. The Prevost XLII features a 30-inch-wide entrance door as well as fewer and lower steps for easier access.

Sainte-Claire, Quebec, December 10, 2008—V.I.P. Charter Coaches has purchased three Prevost X3-45 motorcoaches, including two with the Volvo D13 engine. The company, based in Portland, Maine, was founded in 1985 and specializes in motorcoach tours throughout the United States and Canada, as well as charter service for corporations, schools, government groups—and even a certain U.S. president during a visit to his summer home “Down East.”

 

General manager Raymond Penfold explains that all the coaches in V.I.P.’s fleet are Prevosts. The comfort and convenience they offer on longer trips are much appreciated by V.I.P. passengers, and the maneuverability of the X series makes it an ideal choice for use in places like downtown Boston or at regional airports.

 

Mr. Penfold first began purchasing Prevost coaches in the late 1980s, attracted by the distinctive look of their oversize windows and reputation for on-road performance. He quickly came to value the Quebec company’s approach to customer service. When asked what drives him to keep purchasing Prevost, he has a ready list of reasons, including “the company itself” and the fact that it sells “the best bus going.”

 

During his many years with Prevost, Mr. Penfold has visited the Sainte-Claire factory, met a number of executives and CEOs, and enjoyed good relationships with employees like regional service manager Jean Ruel, sales representative Tony Febbo, and former sales representative Dan Marrazzo. “Everyone there is always extremely helpful—they’re really something” he declares. “They get back to us with answers within hours.”

 

When V.I.P. decided to purchase three new vehicles this past summer, Mr. Penfold was eager to give the new Volvo engine a try. He’s pleased with it, and with the other new features on the X3-45. And as a pragmatic Down Easter who keeps an eye on the horizon, he’s also looking forward to the forthcoming Volvo 9700.

Greyhound orders new buses equipped with Allison fully automatic transmissions as part of plan to redefine leisure travel

PR Log (Press Release) – Aug 28, 2009 – Allison Transmission supports Greyhound – North America’s largest provider of intercity bus transportation – to deliver improved passenger comfort, fuel efficiency and reliability

 

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA – In its continued commitment to offer the best in leisure bus transportation, Greyhound Lines, Inc. has ordered 174 Prevost X3-45 buses equipped with Allison’s B500 fully automatic transmissions. The new premium touring buses, designed to provide a smoother and more comfortable riding experience, are fuel efficient, environmentally-friendly and easy to operate and maintain. Greyhound plans to replace its entire nationwide fleet with more fuel-efficient buses over time. One hundred and two have already debuted on its routes from New York to Montreal, Toronto and Boston.

 

Greyhound conducted lengthy and extensive fuel economy and reliability studies to ensure its new fleet was equipped with the most fuel-efficient technology. Allison Transmission engineers worked closely with Greyhound and modified the B500’s electronic shift calibration schedules and the bus’s final drive reduction gearing to achieve a 13.4 percent increase in fuel economy compared to the buses Greyhound currently operates.

 

“We are extremely pleased to work with Greyhound and to be a part of their nationwide fleet upgrade programme,” said Lou Gilbert, Allison Transmission director of North American marketing. “We were confident we had the right product and the engineering expertise to deliver Greyhound’s desired performance, reliability and fuel economy goals.”

 

In production since the early 1990’s, the B500 is the largest automatic transmission that Allison manufactures to serve the bus and motor coach markets. Currently, these units are in service globally and have been adapted to the specifications of each end user regardless of their location.

Iranian Legacy: English Words of Persian Origin

“The British bastards are the main enemy of Truth, Freedom, Goodness, and Humanity. In this year (2013), you can see why the worst Orwellian media are the British media, and why Iranians say: ‘the Mullah regime is a British artifact’. In this year, the Guardian and other British media can show you [many things]“, the wise Iranians say. The story of the British Orwellian media, from the BBC to the Guardian, is a long story -like the story of the British systematic lies- that we should write more about it later. We and many other Iranians hate politics, politicians and political issues. But unfortunately, everything and every aspects of life in Iran and this shitty world has become a branch of politics. The bad guys try to control everything in this shitty world, and almost all subjects that you can think, read, or write about them have been polluted by politics. As some wise Iranians say: “Daily life, economics, arts, culture, and even science and everything have been polluted and poisoned by political interests. The Ministry of Truth, the Orwellian systems, the British bastards, and other bad guys pollute ‘Science and Culture’ with fabrication, falsification, suppression and censorship. Fabrication is making up results and reporting them. Falsification is manipulating research materials, equipment, or processes or changing or omitting data or results. Suppression or non-publication of data is the deliberate suppression, failure to publish, or selective release of the findings of scientific studies. In the UK and the West, studies are suppressed or remain unpublished because the findings are perceived to undermine the political, commercial or other interests“. It’s really shameful. We should write more about “Scientific Misconduct” or “Scientific Lies” in the UK and the West, but as some wise Iranians say: “Unfortunately, sciences like History, Archaeology and other Social Sciences have became political sciences, and are controlled by bad guys. The pseudo scientists/ intellects -that work for bad guys- falsify data and misinform people. How many people know that the UK has been the land of barbarians and human-eaters for thousands of years? How many people are aware of this fact that many good things in the West is a legacy from Iran, the Cradle of Civilization? How many people are aware of this fact that the UK and the West pollute sciences with ‘Lie’, ‘Censorship’, ‘Hiding the truth’, ‘Fabrication’, ‘Suppression’, ‘Falsification’, etc ?” Unfortunately, the West tells big lies about almost everything. As the wise Iranians say: “Sciences and scientists should care about the truth, but the bad guys hate the truth. Many can guess why sciences like History and Archaeology serve political interests, but many even cannot guess that sciences like Linguistics have become political sciences, too”. We should write more about History, Archaeology, etc later, but here lets take a look at some linguistic facts. As some wise Iranians say: “One of the most laughable jokes in Linguistics is the term ‘Indo-European’ or Indo-European languages (coined by Brits). The British barbarians are Bi-Hame-Chiz (‘be/ have nothing’; a Persian slang for ‘mean, stupid and worthless guys’). They know that the ancient Britons/ Europeans were human-eaters. They know that Europeans had no serious contacts with Indians (Greeks and Romans had serious contacts with Iran’s civilization). The ancient Greeks said and thought that India is a remote part of Persia. Before the 13th century and Marko Polo, Europeans knew little about India and China. The Mongols, Turks, Arabian deserts, etc have a short history of civilization, and it’s what even old Europeans and today’s Europeans confess to it. But the ungrateful West that has learned many things from Persia (Iran) tell bad jokes about the Iranian origin of many good things in Europe. Their languages have Iranian and Indo-Iranian roots, but these bastards talk about the ‘Indo-European’ languages! ‘Indo-European’ is nothing but ‘Iranian’ or ‘Indo-Iranian’ (Indo-Aryan). Europeans that ate humans and lived like savage beasts, even didn’t know how they should utter or spell Culture and Civilization. They learned many many things from Iran, and also India and China, but instead of talking about Iranian gifts or Indo-Iranian gifts’, they coined stupid terms like Indo-European! Sometimes they even confess that many things, many languages and many words in India have Iranian roots. But they still talk about the imaginary ‘Indo-European’ legacy! But sooner or later many scientists, specially many Iranians, will write about the Barbarian UK and the systematic lies in the past 300 years. And sciences like History, Archaeology and Linguistics that have become political sciences will be purified by those who just care about the truth, not political, commercial, and other interests“. “Many words in English and other European languages have Persian roots, because Iran is the Cradle of Civilization and the land of the first things. First modern Religions, first agriculture and irrigation systems, first gardens, first domestication of animals (sheep, goat, horse, etc), first medicines, first languages/ scripts, first architectures, first modern foods, and many other first things are among the Iranian gifts to mankind [that we would write more about them later]. As some experts truly say: “When you want to know the Persian root of English words or other words, you should consider many things, including the long history of Iran and Iranian Civilization. Many historical facts, not just a single fact or a single superficial similarity between two words, can show you why many words have Iranian roots. In Persian, some words have an important connection with each other. For instance, Shyr (milk), Shyrin (sweet, ie something that its taste is like Shyr), Shyrini (pastry, cake, or something that its taste is Shirin), Shyreh (syrup, or something that is like Shyr), Shekar (sugar), Shahd (sap), Sharab (wine), Sharbat (sherbet), etc. And it says a lot about the Persian root of the similar words in other languages”. As some wise Iranians say: “The first dairy products, the first wheats and breads, the first herbal drinks/ medicines, the first sweets and pastries, and many other first things were mainly produced by Iranians. And we know that even words like ‘Coffee Shop’ -from Persian Cahweh (coffee) Khane (house/ shop)- have Persian roots. The first European travelers to Iran wrote about such facts. But it’s not the whole story. We know that for instance, ‘Soap’ has a Persian root (Saboon), because not only European travelers wrote about it, but because Iranians invented Saboon. In fact, Soap, Spinach, Parsley, Parsnip, etc are Persian words because they originated in Iran and [are among the Persian gifts to mankind]“. They also add: “From the Persian Chai – that old Europeans spelled it as tzai- came Tea. And If you know the long history of Persian herbal drinks/ medicines (ie boiling and drinking many herbal leaves in Iran) you can see that what Britons say about Tea and its history is bullshit. When Britons and others were eating humans, Iranians were using herbal drinks. Since the ancient time, Iranians used and drank many ‘Jushande’ or ‘Dam-Karde’ (boiled herbs). Persian is easier to learn than a lot of other languages. German, French, English, etc have a complex grammar. But Persian is the opposite. Persian has no grammar for the sex of words! Instead of ‘she’, ‘he’, and ‘it’, Persian just has a single pronoun for the third person. Places, objects, nouns, pronouns, verbs, and all words don’t have any sex in Persian. And it’s so important. In almost all languages, from Arabic and English to French and German, they have a very stupid grammar for the sex of words! And Feminists protest against using ‘he’ or ‘she’ in English. But in Persian, you don’t have any kinds of such stupid problems. Persian is an ancient, but post-modern language!”. In the recent years some write: ‘Why Persian is actually easier than the major European languages’, and add: “Persian has no articles. Persian has no words for the English the/a. In English, you should say a X, the X, etc. But in Persian you simply say X, without any fucking articles. Persian has no cases. But even in English you can see cases in pronouns. You have to say ‘she gives it to me’ instead of ‘she gives it to I’, and ‘for them’ instead of ‘for they’. Cases are bad enough when they apply to all nouns like in German. But Persian doesn’t have this. Verbs in Persian are extremely easy, too”. As some wise Iranians say: “If you can understand the minimalism and simplicity of Persian, you can see that Persian is one of the easiest, coolest, richest, and prettiest languages in the world”. They also add: “Sooner or later, Persian will become an international language again. At that time, if you want to know modern sciences and advanced technologies, you must learn Persian. But when you learn Persian, you actually learn about the Cradle of Civilization, the Birthplace of Tolerance, Human Rights and Human values, and one of the greatest and richest culture, literature, poetry, and satire in the world”.
