As always, a photo each day for 365 days. All shot and edited using Apps on my iPhone 5.
The photo was taken using the camera App 645 PRO Mk II for iPhone, saved as a TIFF file before any editing. The original image can be found below.
First of all I used the app Snapseed to edit the image. This was done by cropping the image to get closer to the sheep, then applying the Drama 2 filter and sharpening the image a little. I then used Mextures to apply some lighting and textures to the image. The preset that I applied was a custom one that I have used on a previous image. After that I used the app ShockMyPic to make the image a little more painterly. Finally I used PhotoToaster to apply the Canvas texture and add the Stacked frame.
The original photo was taken down the road from Tile Hill Train station, about a 5 Minute walk away from where I took my 'No Sheep today!' image from a few days ago. Looks like I found the sheep I was looking for, all together in another field.

Backstory:
It starts with a not so new suitcase which shouts to me from a window display at the local vintage shop. I'm driving down Main Street. It's raining. I see it. I hear it. I want it. I circle back around the block, park the car, and make a dash for the door. Closed. What? How could this be? It's 10:30 am on a Friday. The locked door proves it is true. I slide over and take a closer look through the glass. It's the one. I dart back to the door and take a moment to read the store hours. Relief pours over me much like the rain. Friday 12-5pm. There is hope, smiling. I run errands and return precisely at noon. I'm in. The shop is charming. The clerk smiles. She knows. Her first sale of the day is imminent. I am sure of it. Surprisingly, a second suitcase peeks from under a musty pile of magazines and half a stack of silk scarves. This one needs me more than the shouting one. I have no choice. It happens. I leave with not one but two suitcases.
And this is how the creative process works for me. Moments after arriving home, I scramble to set up the tripod and connect the remote shutter to the iPhone. Click, click, and click. A storytelling image reveals proof that inspiration comes in all shapes, sizes, and more often than not when we least expect.
