It's a part of a pic i'm currently working on it. Final pic won't be in sepia, and so close, but I'm so happy to have Mecca in my stream, that I wanna post a pic of this shot :) thank you!
C'est une photo extraite d'une compo sur laquelle je bosse en ce moment (qui ne ressemblera pas à ca). Mais j'adore Mecca, et je voulais avoir une photo d'elle ici :)

I made the pilgrimage to The Pinnacles today at Phillip Island, Vic, Australia. It certainly didn't disappoint! Three image stitch with Canon 24mm Tilt-shift
Ah, the lovely Mecca. The "Pocket Diva", as I call her, due to her diminutive size. :o)
As I mentioned, we decided to go for the glam on this shot, instead of the lingerie shots I have been doing. Not that dress she's wearing really leaves much to the imagination. ;o)
Had a ton of fun working with you (and Fin) last night, Sweetie...Hope you like it.

I've got approximately 5 GB of unused pictures on my hard drive... this was one of them.

A visitor kindly centers himself in front of one of the images at the Mecca Flat Blues exhibition at Chicago Cultural Center. I loved this exhibit...fascinating subject, beautifully presented, and you get to listen to some fabulous blues music while you're there. Check it out if you get a chance...
Okay I admit I totally snuck a pic of the beautiful Mecca at the opening of the Artist Park just so I can have her on my stream. This woman is not only beautiful inside and out, but so damn talented. It was a pleasure to meet you.
After spending the past couple weeks with my nose to the grindstone working on the ARTisan (http://issuu.com/artisanmagazine/docs/the_artisan_1) I haven't had much time to put out the pictures sitting in my cache of photos to do. AND after taking many pictures between Avatrait's gallery opening of Pestilence and Heroine as well as Vain Inc's Gallery opening I needed to clear some older pictures out.
This set of photos are from Petr Vanbeeck's and Silverdrake Sparrows gallery opening on June 21st now showing at the ARTist's gallery till July 21st.

So, Mecca had a sitting scheduled with me, and Fin popped by. We had decided to mix things up and go more glam than pinup for this shoot, so Finny threw on a tux, and I threw out some poseballs.
I got a very nice, elegant shot of them both, posed as if on a dance floor, caught in the middle of a turn.
There's individual shots of each still to come, so watch this space.
It was so much fun to hang out with you both! Thanks for everything! :o)
Aerial view of the Holy area of Hejaz. Taken from Al Hada in the historic city of Ta'if, the city of Mecca is visible from around 100 km. Mecca Clock Tower, overseeing the Holy Mosque is visible at the far end.
The road from Sarawat Mountains goes winding from Ta'if to Mecca from above 6000 feet
The aura and sanctity that one gets to feel near Mecca Masjid Hyderabad is simply incomparable. Founded by Muhammad Quli Qutub Shah, the fifth ruler of Qutub Shahi dynasty, it is one of the biggest and the oldest mosques in South India. It is said that he himself laid the foundation stone and the bricks used to construct the central arch of the mosque have been made from soil sourced from Mecca. This is the reason behind the mosque getting its name as Mecca Masjid.
It has the capacity to accommodate 10,000 worshippers to offer prayers at a time. About 8000 workers were involved in the construction of this mosque that draws hundreds of tourists from all across the globe, not just for its historical or religious importance but also for its spectacular beauty.
A few common sights at this sacred place include feeding of pigeons considered to be a virtue in the Muslim community and devotees sitting by the side of an artificial pond installed in the mosque. As per a legend, whoever sits on the two stones and slab benches beside the pond always comes back to sit on them again.
