Thanks to Derrick for the Moo Cards. The kids love them.
Never been much of a fan of selective color, but had to give it a go at least once.

......have you got yours?
I decided to post a rather poor image of my Moo cards in answer to a number of good folks who have emailed me, or recently commented, asking about the Moo Cards. My good friend Saintbridge (that's him playing guitar on a moo card above) ordered the Moo cards first as a means of providing friends and strangers with the flickr links to his images and the 100 Strangers Project. I liked that idea and have done the same.
The process is quite simple and the cost reasonable considering they are printed in Great Britain and arrive on your doorstep about 1 week later, now that is service. On your Home screen of Flickr you will find a Moo link on the right hand side, follow the steps, Moo will do all the work once you fill in some boxes and identify through their link on flickr which photos you want to use on the cards. For mine, I selected a few random images to use, and on the written side of the card, well you can see in the image above what I have included...
Moo Mini cards are fun, folks like them and it is an easy way to promote your artistic merits to those outside the Flickr community....

Apologies to Van Morrison and yes, this has been done a thousand times on flickr (1,127 to be exact if you search for "milk splash").
Thanks to V1nz for the inspiration to shoot splashes in low light. She shoots a lot of her drops using a table lamp and side-illuminations. Accordingly, this is illuminated from the side using a 40 watt table lamp and captured at 500/sec shutter speed. Manual focus.
Our beautiful cat Moo.
