Trees are like umberellas - in bad weather they shelter us from rain, on a sunny day they protect us from the heat. Coming out from under tree is like being born again to me, the light slowly gets more impressive as you leave them and enter into the open world.. Sometimes we need to start again - sometimes we need to come out from under the tree..RW

After a heavy rain storm, suddenly some of the heavy clouds parted and the light broke through in dramatic fashion. Taken at Key Biscayne, Florida.
Light is not so much something that reveals, as it is itself the revelation. --James Turrell

Light gives of itself freely, filling all available space. It does not seek anything in return; it asks not whether you are friend or foe. It gives of itself and is not thereby diminished.
~Michael Strassfeld
The souls of people, on their way to Earth-life, pass through a room full of lights; each takes a taper - often only a spark - to guide it in the dim country of this world. But some souls, by rare fortune, are detained longer - have time to grasp a handful of tapers, which they weave into a torch. These are the torch-bearers of humanity - its poets, seers and saints, who lead and lift the race out of darkness, toward the light. They are the law-givers and saviours, the light-bringers, way-showers and truth-tellers, and without them, humanity would lose its way in the dark.
