I’m a girl from North Kensington, born in London but I moved out to the town I live in when I was just a couple of years old. My grandmother and my great grandmother both lived in North Kensington and Ladbroke Grove in London for many years after we moved. I’d go stay with my Grandmother and one of the highlights was what felt like the very long walk to Portobello Road Market...

Amazed by this brilliant mural by Keith K. Hopewell just off Ladbroke Grove.

Finally got this at the 5th time of asking, due to parked cars & bikes, but it was well worth the wait to see this piece unobstructed.

The work does continue to the left as we look, with a quote from the Aswad song "Love Fire" from 1981.

"Love is the force i said let there be light"....

I lost my External Hard Drive last night and I've been trying all night to get 1TB worth of RAW files off it.

I finally gave up and bought a new 1TB drive today but it will be another 24 to 48 hours before I can transfer all my RAW files across from various backup media and rebuild my Lightroom Catalog.

I am hoping there will be more Canival images worth posting once this is done.

I connected DPP to my CF Card in order to pull off this sunset photographed at the Carnival last night.
