From a small lake above Kongde. I was really happy to find that place. If this picture is far from a good one, the place is amazing.
Malanphulan, Kangtega, Thamserku, Kyashar and Kusum Kanguru are in the background.
Determining which mountain is which can be more difficult than it seems, but as best as I can tell, mountains in view include (from left):

Descending Gokyo Ri (5537 m) I fascinated at the spectacle for a frozen Dudh Pokhari (Milky lake) before sunset. Beautiful 6-thousands meters mountains Cholatse, Taboche, Kangtega, Kyashar,Thamserku and Kusum Kanguru are in the background. That time, there was only one lodge opened in Gokyo.

Hey Mate!! I was at the Oakley Style Wars in Fallscreek Australia last week.. I had tons of Fun there! great parties at the Silver Ski Lodge with the whole Epic crew! I got to see my old friend PC from the Epic book.. runs in the gum trees, watch Travis’ movie.. I was hosting the contest for the web.. which was kind of funny.. I had tons of fun at the parties! we have seen some water spitting, beer fights, and even some wrestling at some point.. all in a fun party mood in the Aussie way. A that we improvised a trip to Torquay on the way down and went surfing, the water was freezing cold, but it was fun to catch a couple waves..
After the surfing, I joined the 2 Kristis ( Leskinen skier, and KT the Oakley marketing girl in Australia). We flew Sydney, ate some kanguru, did a couple PR stuff there with Alpha magazine and Sports Tonight Australia. I pet a koala and flew to New Zealand.. we spent the first day in Auckland for some more interviews for Sunrise (TV), Curl magazine, Sports Tonight NZ (TV), couple radio stations, and last but not least, we got on the Sports Cafe show hosted by some of the All Blacks (NZ national heroes).. they started asking us some tricky questions when a streaker jumped out of the public and shaked it right before my eyes on live national TV!! I was quite stoked to be there when that happened
anyways got to Queentsown the next day for the Oakley Chicks day out! which took place in Snowpark with another 50 girls.. the sun was shining and the park was super good, we shred together all day, i tryed to give them a couple tips, and we all rode back together to queenstown in a very loud busride. At night we all went for a bootie shake at the subculture bar where our friend RIA was DJing.. she killed it! she played tons of funk, which i love and we all danced all night.. and now I m tired and ready to go back to Euroland!
Climbing to Gokyo Ri I was fascinated by amazing vista of winter Himalaya. Prominent mountains on the foto are: Cholatse, Taboche, Kang Tega, Thamserku, Kyashar, Kusum Kanguru. Frozen the Second and the Third Gokyo Lakes can be seen at right side of Ngozumpa (Nguzumpa) glacier.

Horisontal flags in tibetan called 'Lungta' (windhorse) - A mythical Tibetan creature symbolizing the inner air or wind of the body and related aspects of the Buddhist path. See article for more information. Trekkers really like to see them, since it usually means their destination.
Langsisa Ri (6427 m). Situated in the popular Langtang trekking region, Langsisa Ri is a technically challenging peak and is perhaps one of the most difficult of all trekking peaks in the region (after Kusum Kanguru).

Returning was both relieving and sad. I wonder if I will ever go back? About 4500 m.
3rd day morning greeted us with our first magnificent sight of a 'white' mountain, way south, beyond the skylines of Namche, was Kusum Kanguru.
Although Kusum Kanguru itself is a 'trekking route', it's easily one of the most challenging e-v-e-r, definitely not for the faint of hearts!

When you say " Australia " , two kind of animals comes to your mind Koala and Kanguru :) so here is a shot for a Koala and hopefully soon i will post a shot for a Kanguru but need to organize my archive first ...
Koala is one of the coolest animals in the world and if you ever had the chance to be an animal then Koala is your choice ;) ( a question which i asked by the zoo keeper after a tour XD ) all what they do is sleep and eat. They sleep around 22hours a day and then wake up to eat for 2 hours and then go back to sleep :) What a life :)

Kusum Kanguru is a mountain in the Khumbu Region of the Himalaya in Nepal. Its name, Kusum Kanguru, means "Three Snow-White Gods" in the Sherpa language, which refers to the triple summit of the mountain.
尼泊爾的「登山山峰」(trekking peak) 之中最難攀登山峰之一。
With an altitude of 6,367 metres (6,369m or 6,370m according to other map sources), the mountain is classified as a trekking peak, but it is considered one of the most difficult to climb. Out of twenty two attempts between 1978 and 1998, nine successful expeditions have been reported.
After four previously unsuccessful attempts by British, Japanese and two prior New Zealand expeditions, a Japanese expedition lead by Ken Kanazawa reached the subsidiary northeast summit on 9 October 1979.
The first successful ascent of the main summit was made by Bill Denz of New Zealand on 7 October 1981, climbing the southwest buttress (west face), and descending the northwest flank. Denz did not only realise the first ascent, but also the first solo ascent and the first traverse of Kusum Kanguru. Five days later, on 12 October 1981, a Japanese team made the second ascent via the southeast face.
In the subsequent years, new routes have been opened, all of them technically very challenging.
1988 British Expedition led by Nick Mason conquered the previously unclimbed East Face. Expedition doctor was Rob Howarth who later worked in support of Everest Mountain Marathons. Expedition was filmed by Warwick Partington, former ITV & Channel 4 TV director before he later worked on Sky News.
