Always something to learn when taking photographs!
In this case, I learnt that the common Cycad Sago Palm (Cycas revoluta), as with all cycads, has male and female plants (i.e., they are "dioecious"). This is an example of a female plant and cone.

iPhone 5s - Photograph taken with the camera on an iPhone 5s.
Camera - The native Camera app was used with the HDR option.
Handy Photo - Retouched a few small specks of white dust on the green fronds.
Snapseed - Image straightened.
Frontview - Trapezoidal crop applied to alter the apparent perspective.
Photoshop Touch - Image cropped to square format then re-sized to 2448 x 2448 pixels.
Noiseware - Noise Reduction filter applied with custom settings.
Filterstorm - Sharpening and Tone Mapping filters applied.
ExifEditor - EXIF data from the original image transferred to the final image.
