This photo is taken in Northern Finland in Raahe 21.6.2013 at midnight. A clock was 12.59 am. We have so much light in Northern Finland with midsummer. The whole night is bright.

I am back from the winter wonderland, I love Finland so much and the beauty is unforgettable!
I saw Aurora Borealis at the first night although the sky was not so clear, this was still very exciting to me.
I know I will be there again in the future!

3 June 2018 Helsinki, Finland’s southern capital, sits on a peninsula in the Gulf of Finland. Its central avenue, Mannerheimintie, is flanked by institutions including the National Museum, tracing Finnish history from the Stone Age to the present. Also on Mannerheimintie are the imposing Parliament House and Kiasma, a contemporary art museum. Ornate red-brick Uspenski Cathedral overlooks a harbor.

This image was made just inside Finland across the Norwegian border, the weather where we were staying in Norway was terrible and had no chance of improving over the next 48 hours so we decided to take a drive. Around four hours later we arrived here to find clear skys so decided to hang around untill sunset in the hope of seeing some Aurora activity, and luckily it paid off. We also had an almost full moon lighting up the foreground nicely.
As a lot of you know I shoot with a Cannon 5D MK ll, For the last trip we made I hired a Nikon D3S.

I am back. what a trip. our rabbit Kicsi died of cancer the day after we got back. all fuzzy things must come to an end.

In Finland during a summer heat fish is forced find shelter and occupy a birdhouse. Mätäkuussa ahven pesii linnunpöntöissäkin.
