Mr. Lorenzo Stanchel is a very soft spoken man. He told me how he was refused service in the Radio Shack store by a white sales clerk. When he complained to corporate management they did not believe him. When he called the local news station, they told him that Radio shack was one of there sponsers and they were not interested in his story. He decided to protest outside the store.

We spotted an Eracism Clothing llc v2 bumper sticker. This is dope!

For the next several weeks, local hiphop/spoken word artist Dustin Homage Lee engages the VSB's Engaged Immigrant Youth group at Windermere High School.

...Did you know that hiphop was born in the 1970s in Brooklyn, New York City -- as a way for various cultural groups of neighbourhood youth (including gangs) to show off their creativity and street smarts to one another?

Hiphop is one vibrant example of an INTERCULTURAL initiative. Create opportunities to interact with different cultures. You'll be surprised to spot qualities of yourself wherever you look.

This is my attempt at the Rule of Thirds using my husband's camera. I ensured that Henry's eyes are in the top right of intersecting lines. Notice the blur edges of the shot, I think it softens it so let me know what you think.

I was walking down MacArthur Avenue when I saw this man holding up his sign and talking with the two other men. I crossed the street and asked him to tell me his story and would he mind if I took his photo.. He said yes and proceeded to tell me what happened to him in the store.

This is a photograph of one woman looking at another woman. What if I called the one on the right a honky, a cracker, or a whitey? I think some people might get really really offended, and a battle of the wits would commence. But no that wouldn't happen, witty people don't get offended by mindless babble.
