Well winter has finally started in Australia with up to half a meter of snow overnight and a series of cold fronts coming in for the next week . The aussie resorts should get over a meter this week .

Far from Sam's secret location I found an image from Stuttgart's tram museum, where you can take a view under a tram.

Thanks for visits, comments and favs, all highly appreciated and will be responded a.s.a.p!

This twilight shot shows the Brisbane River and one of its beaches. The river is saline at this point and is minutes away from the central business district, so it's a city beach!

You can also see an almost complete pedestrian and cycle boardwalk from New Farm, an inner city suburb to the central business district. This bridge replaces a previous floating boardwalk which literally floated away in the 2011 floods, taking with it a ferry terminal, which has also since been replaced.

An array of architectural styles can also be seen here in the residential development alongside the river. One further interesting point relates to the dark red brick wall that one can see at the bottom of the third contemporary high-rise residential development from the left. It is all that remains of an historic residential building once on this site.

Thanks for stopping by. Appreciate your comments.

Red: To me, the red rose presents one of the most gorgeous red that nature has to offer.

Featuring a warata thanks to the Hothouse Season and what in this case the Spousal Person brings for me, but they are locally grown and I threw in some forget me nots from my own garden. We've had a lot of Windy Season as well blowing the petals off everything:)

Beach caves hollowed out by fishermen to store their boats in, late 1800s at Port Willunga Beach. At that time, Port Willunga was one of the busiest fisheries in the British colony of South Australia.

Today, it's a frequent target of photographers, with the beach a popular leisure spot. The shot was taken on a cool early summer evening , fortunately no crowds so was able to get quite a good composition from one if the caves.

Couldn't resist uploading this little seahorse portrait, it decided to model itself so well and land right on the closest focal length for my Tamron which was luck so only cropped the sides of the image off for square format-taken at Kelly Tarltons Underwater World in Auckland

Big Thanks to Sigi_K and L.K for their testimonials-if you haven't seen their streams please check them out both diferrent and incredibly artistic.

Missed a few days on flickr so will be catching up today.

Cheers all and have a great weekend.

I'm not going to put in the Lyrics this time...I don't think there is a person on the planet who doesn't know this song.
