At the end of the day. Not a donkey to be seen!

Connemara Donkey captured looking across the fields out in the countryside of rural Ireland.

I believe this breed of donkey is getting scarce which is a great pity-but in this neck of the woods they keep them mainly as pets.

Do you like this photograph of the donkey Irish style.

Your comments are greatly appreciated.

Thank You.

An old endangered donkey race from Poitou in western France.

The donkeys are very tall. Their original purpose was to till the farmers fields during the middle ages.

A nodding donkey (also called pump jack, oil horse, donkey pumper, pumping unit, horsehead pump, rocking horse, beam pump, dinosaur, sucker rod pump (SRP), grasshopper pump, Big Texan, thirsty bird, or jack pump) is the overground drive for a reciprocating piston pump in an oil well.

Here is a typical example with a bit of a rain cloud behind it.

Dappled donkey, mobile ears. Corofin. Burren -> Connemara

... the face to the previous beard :)

I'm quite sure they can bite and kick. When provoked probably !

Seconds after taking this he was nuzzling up to me while I stroked his nose and ears !

I love donkeys, think they're a lovely animal. But even if I did want to risk him not being traced, don't think I'd have got him in the back of my Astra, even with the seats folded down :-)

In one of riyadh outskirts there are some farms that I have been wanting to take some shots since a while now and found this fellow starring at me lol

After arriving in Llachon we took a hike up the trails above the village. Lake Titicaca is in the background.

Appropriately numbered 142037 passes Ormsgill with 2c37 Barrow-Sellafield. A very very rare sight are 'donkeys' north of Barrow so this was well worth recording, especially as they're being phased out soon.

Test avec une veille petite chambre de voyage qui a visiblement des problemes de fuites que je n'arrive pas a résoudre!!! :-(

Th Foal gave me a lovely smile ;-)
