This image is created for a cover advertising of the new Sony Vaio laptop in RAM magazine in Greece. The cover page is divited in two different half pages opening and presenting the Sony laptop.
The brief was asking the creation of an image of a guy in middle 30s with two complementary identities. The first was this of a temporary business guy. The second of a ordinary guy with a trendy look and style.
As the whole project had to be finished in a weekend or a couple of days more, I had no other option than using myself as a model. Then I had to make some face lifting, tooth whitening, new haircut etc... :-) (I am near 40 years old and I am neither a typical businessman nor a trendy guy.
The art director as well as the client approved the final result and I am happy for that. Only problem is that beeing on the cover of a best selling magazine offers various strange expieriences... :-)))
BTW, I am a MacBook Pro user, even if the only Windows laptop I could ever use (if Mac OS X could run on it) would be a Sony Vaio.
Special thanks to American-Psycho-UK (pictured here) for patiently modelling and the invaluable help with lighting.
"Human Desire" from ELISABETH CAREN'S #DOUBLEIDENTITY fineart photography series. Starring CLARE GRANT as the #femmefatale with references to classic #FilmNoir titles of the 1940s. In this series the "other woman" and the "other man" are not who 1940s audience would expect and be considered shocking and "unacceptable."

"This Woman is Dangerous"
From ELISABETH CAREN'S #DOUBLEIDENTITY fineart photography series. Starring starring @claregrant
and @tarynoneill The leading female character in the #filmnoir genre usually fell into two characters: the femme fatale, who uses her sexual attractiveness and ruthless cunning to manipulate men in order to gain power and independence, and the conventional devoted wife and loving mother typically portrayed as dull and who has no autonomy, a role that the femme fatale rejects. These were exacting roles in the medium and society with no allowance for any other sexual preference or desire, even though in reality there were a multitude of differing sexual relationships occurring.
