Theme: Old/Abandoned/Decaying

Title: The Comfy Chair
With a theme like "Old/Abandoned/Decaying", the obvious local choice for us was to visit Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia, PA. The prison operated from 1829 to 1971, was abandoned for 25 some years, and is now operated as a sort of living (dieing?) museum of penology.
The prison has more than a dozen cell blocks with hundreds of cells. Although you can't get into most of them, it's a photographer friendly place. You can bring a tripod and stick your lens over the barrier at the cell door to capture all sorts of strange stuff -- like a chair moved from the barber's shop down the hall into one of the abandoned cells.
Processed using HDR Efex Pro and a preset that came with Jason Odell's ebook.

This is made from my wire brushes. I used one of Ghostbones textures in the background via my texture filter. It is all Photoshop with layers, blends, and brushes.
Masking the smell of cigarette smoke with incense...reminds me of when I was in high school. lol
(I am not a smoker, anymore. Because smoking is bad.)

I said I’d show you another pic of the lovely Comfy dress from ElvenElder and here it is – so gorgeous!!
