Christmas gift for my sister. I made her version with a chocolate brown body and changed some of the yoke colors so that we wouldn't be too matchy-matchy.

"Circle Theater, 516 S.W. Fourth. This location (first reference to the theater is in the Oregonian in 1908) is mentioned repeatedly as one of the most noteworthy gay male cruising sites in Portland history. It is mentioned in Holman, an article in an out-of-down gossip paper of 1951, and in oral history interviews conducted by GLAPN. Researchers have documented at least three long-term gay couples who met in the balcony of this theater in the 1950s and whose relationships lasted over thirty years. Sources tell us that there were actually two separate balconies, one to the left and one to the right. The balcony to the left was for men and women (hetero dates), and the one on the right was limited to men only. The police were well aware of its reputation at the time, but seemingly allowed it to continue, although there are accounts in the newspapers of arrests having taken place here."

CIRCLES have been hard at work promoting their brand of Australian metal worldwide, basking in worldwide press attention since the release of their critically acclaimed debut EP 'The Compass' in May 2011. Throughout 2012 the band have been on the road touring whilst also creating and writing much of their new material.
The result is a debut album that is set to take the band into previously unchartered waters with a fresh sound that is uniquely Circles. Mixing up cutting edge production techniques and innovative progressive metal that pushes the boundaries of the listeners experience, the album is dripping with melody throughout, with hidden elements of electronica , topped off with some of the finest vocal delivery since Mike Patton's lungs arrived on the musical landscape.
Circles debut album will be released on Basick Records in Spring 2013.
circle of love, friends, years or golf balls. When I told my 96 year mother what I was doing she said I was nuts and needed a hobby

René lives a dull, uneventful life in a subterranean and futuristic world. He is about to be promoted and transferred from Circle One to Circle Six, when a series of mysterious mounds start to appear systematically in his apartment.

Circle is a bit of a hippy-chick laid back gentle and friendly young lady who is always willing to help Ernie and the other trains whenever she can.
This is my favorite way to display necklaces for photos. It's really an upside down vintage milk glass bowl.
I decided to join the circle skirt sew-along hosted by Casey. I have sewn circle skirts before, but it's always fun to see how others do it and maybe learn a thing or two. It was a fun sew-along with many fun tips and tricks. See all the lessons here
I've had the fabric I used for this skirt for a while. I bought it with the plan to create a dress, but when I got home I wondered if I had turned my head in the store. The fabric was too intense for me .. and what shall I say ...too many mushrooms in one place. I put it in the closet and forgot about it until I had to find a suitable material for the circleskirt. I decided to try it, and I think it really worked quite well. (But I'm glad I did not make a dressof it)

This hundred years old circle of ten chestnut trees has probably been an old place of gathering, celebrations, or simply, selene reflection. A special sensation takes you over when you walk inside the circle, or sit down in it, even. Looking up is beautiful too, but I didn't have a 10-20mm lens, unfortunately.
