pescare pesci che nessuno riesce a catturare. Non è che sono più veloci o forti di altri pesci. È solo che sembrano sfiorati da una particolare grazia.

Il Circeo visto dal ponte sul lago di Paola
CENNO GEOGRAFICO - Il promontorio del Circeo, alto m. 541 sul livello del mare, si protende nel mare Tirreno a mezza via tra Anzio e Gaeta, e costituisce dal lato di ponente il limite del piccolo golfo di Terracina. Il massiccio del promontorio è tutto circondato da aree pianeggianti, sicché non c'è da stupirsi se, specialmente dal mare, esso ha l'apparenza di un'isola. CIRCE ED ULISSE La leggenda ha sin da antico tempo localizzato nel Circeo l'abitazione della maga Circe. Per Omero il Circeo è un'isola. Ulisse, salito su un'alta "vedetta di rupi" scorge nella sua interezza il contorno dell'isola

Controluce alle grotte
La piazzetta è il cuore del centro storico di San Felice Circeo.
Ricca di bar e ristorantini tipici che le fanno da contorno, ospita la famosa Torre dei Templari,
costruita nel XIII secolo dai Monaci Templari durante la loro permanenza sul territorio.
C'è poi il Palazzo Baronale, attualmente sede del Comune e fatto costruire nel VIX secolo dalla famiglia Caetani.
