I did this two months ago, so cannot remember what textures I may have used...sorry to those that provided them.

At present our home is full of cut flowers. So, I took the opportunity to hone my tabletop photographic floral skills!

I was intrigued by the shadow play across this flower, so I decided to do a value study . . . I hope I learned a lot, as I don't plan to repeat the "exercise" in the near future :-)

My mother grew these beautiful green chrysanthemums from a cutting which was taken from the chrysanthemums my son gave her last year on Mother's Day. When she came to lunch with us yesterday (Mother's Day), Mum brought me some of her chrysanthemums. I really like green flowers as they seem somewhat unusual and Mum has offered to strike a new plant for me. Explore #327, 12th May 2009.
