Like Jabba, Bobba doesn't like others to touch Solo in carbonite.

My first entry for Space Jam, in the bounty hunter ship category.

Henjin Quilones III and his sister, Jenhin, escaped from the slums of Nar Shaddaa, along with their Twi'lek friend Veenac'ebla, and now run a bounty hunting organization in the outer rim, traveling the galaxy in their rusted old ship, Harvester II. They're good at what they do, though, thanks to their upbringing on the streets of Nar Shaddaa, and their force sensitivity. That helps.

The ship can hold two carbonite racks as well as plenty of blasters, with cockpit space for both siblings. The ramp goes up and down and there are light bricks inside the model to light the cargo bay.

It's inspired by the Razor Crest, certainly, but also that green bounty hunter ship from The Clone Wars, the one featured in set 7930. And I took apart my Slave I to build it, so it's got lots of bounty-hunting pedigree, I guess.

The Ghost Recon is perfectly silent and perfectly still. Can it be the incredible training?

It's probably because the poor fellow has been coated and sealed in metal. Bronze by the look of it.

It's not a challenge to be silent and still when you've been Han-Solo-Carbonited. Or Goldfingered.

Thoughts?

HAGRID: Where's me manners? A very happy birthday to yeh. Got something fer yeh here - I mighta sat on it at some point, but it'll taste alright.

I spent ages trying to find a good face for Harry's asleep face (ended up going with Han Solo in Carbonite) only for it to not show up in the photo at all! This build is my interpretation of a dream scene where Harry remembers meeting Hagrid. Since the actual staging of Cursed Child is quite minimalistic and repetitive, I tried to include both Harry in his bed as well as young Harry. Hagrid is Black in this build because sometimes a Black actor fills that track in the play. Let's be honest, Hogwarts staff is rather too white anyway 😆Let me know if it works or if you have any constructive criticism!

(If you missed it, these builds are my own little tribute to the incredible series started by Marcu44 and continued by many amazing builders. I'm not at their level but I did want to do something inspired by them!)

(Yes, I know that it resembles Han Solo trapped in carbonite, but it's ice, I swear.) ;)

Little known fact: Jabba the Hutt was unhappy with the condition of his prized possession – Han Solo in carbonite – and ordered bounty hunters Boba Fett, Bossk and IG-88 to make some repairs. You could call it a galactic recall, if you will.

This was photographed exclusively for my "Small Scenes from a Big Galaxy" book. I will post more of these here shortly.

As soon as I saw this set I knew I had to try something like this, if time permits I'm gonna try to expand it and add a few things.

All in-camera just cropped.

Custom made Han Solo Carbonite (Polymer Clay) and Boba Fett Technic figure format.

"Captain's Log Supplemental - on beaming down to a mysterious city in the clouds we encountered a hostile response; while we quickly disabled the white-armoured soldiers their more colourful 'leader' escaped..."

"Captain, there's someone alive in this thing!"

"Can you get him out of there, Bones?"

"Damnit Jim, I'm a Doctor not a stone mason! We'll have to beam him back up to the Enterprise"

"Captain, this is fascinating - though we are in a galaxy far, far away, these soldiers were carrying guns which appear to be nothing more than crudely modified Earth weapons from the mid-20th century..."

Once again Captain Kirk violates the Prime Directive, and in this case completely wrecks another sci-fi franchise (albeit just a film or so before George Lucas does!)

Tribute to The Razor Crest.

5 months, 5k pieces, 3 kilos and far more work than I expected to be honest.

Features 3-seat cockpit, interior with carbonite blocks and gun cabinet, 3 opening doors, 3 additional hatches for access and internal lightning. Instructions are in progress - given how large the model is, I wanted to show the MOC during airing of The Mandalorian, and it will take probably about 2 months from now on to finish everything off.

Also considering that this is a stage which can still be slightly updated, if there is something you'd like to see - please tell me! It might be possible!

Boba made a few more credits by letting people take selfies with himself and Solo in Carbonite. Day 1500 Y5D39

Little did he knew, but they're not dancing at all. There was some sort of cheerful moment, when everyone was smiling and laughing to Jabba the Hutt's silly little joke about Han being in carbonite with the handcuffs on... boy, how they laughed the joke they've heard from the Reddit. Well, this big Gamorrean doesn't get the joke and simply leave the place with a silent "Grmph!" sound coming directly from his throat.

I came back to Carbonite Chamber! After soooo long time. I'm not gonna lie, the main reason was this absolutely fantastic minifig made by Adam. I had a chance to take a quick glimpse when it was in production but now, finally seeing it in flesh…or in plastic….is something totally different.

Most wanted minifig of 2016, hope you like it guys, as much as I do!

If there is any chance you don't know Adam, please support his work - he is not from our Galaxy!

And again, Han Solo has been taken to the Carbon-Freezing Chamber and frozen in a block of solid carbonite. This time, Ugnaught (aka Erk Zallis) has strictly followed to the instructions by Boba Fett. He is already waiting for trophy to be collected.

"He's worth a lot to me." Boba Fett said.

Ugnaught is making last adjustments for a system that keeps it's passenger alive.

"Did you put it in auto-mode?" He asked from Ugnaught.

Ugnaught growled something in response, I didn't had a chance to hear it, as I was witnessing this from a distance.

Things look bleak for Han Solo! Darth Vader wishes to freeze Luke Skywalker in carbonite to take to the Emporer. First he has decided to test it on Han Solo, much to Leia and Chewbacca's horror.

My now second Original Trilogy barf! I'm super happy on how they came out and I just ordered the blaster pack from Citizen Brick so that should be coming soon!!!

from left to right...

Hoth Trooper: He was going to be in my Hoth barf but he didn't really fit so here ya go! He actually has a white elastic around his wrists but you just can't see it.

Yavin 4 troop: Pretty basic although I used that new torso from that 4+ set lol also leg's idea from BrickStudios.

Lando In disguise: I actually never got any of the sand speeder sets although a while ago one of my friends was getting rid of some lego and that helmet was one of the pieces so yay lol. I gave him the LBM Zod arms and I love his staff! I cut part of the lego dagger off and then attached it with a Brick Arms piece.

Endor Leia: Inspired by Allo's pretty simple all around!

Cloud City Luke: I'm probably never going to get the Ultimate Collector's series one so this is the closest I've got! Love the use of Pao's legs!

Out Of Carbonite Han: Nevel's face works perfectley

Chewy: Brick Arms cross bow and 1x1 brown tiles on his feet!

R2 D2: just put a clip under him and it simulates his middle "leg"

C3 PO: Oringinal version he just always has to be beside R2!

Hot damn you guys. I finally got em all.

The basic setup of this pic is a reference to this older pic: www.flickr.com/photos/141220843@N07/36232326243/in/album-... featuring custom Cloud City figs I made before I had these guys.

Now I don't have the set itself, I've just managed to collect all of the minifigures over the course of about two years. Instead of redundantly going over parts, I'll instead describe how I got each of the more rare figs here.

Lando I got the torso of, then simply built him from the ground up. His cape is admittedly a custom.

Lobot was acquired at a con. At another con I got the original Cloud Car, so now I just have two Lobots.

Luke (god I love how nonplussed his face is) I found at a tabletop gaming store of all things, and haggled with the manager to get him at a reasonable price. He does have the correct hips, it's just hard to see his belt buckle in this lighting.

Leia was a Christmas gift,

And Boba arrived a few days ago, having snatched a (relatively) cheap, slightly scuffed one off eBay with some commission money I had left over.

All in all, it's a joy to have all of these guys together, and it's especially thrilling to actually have one of these classic printed Fetts in my possession.

Cheers all!

I was lurking in the shadows of Jabba's Palace. I was there for some photos of Han in carbonite, but all of a sudden heard steps. It was Bousshh moving like a cat burglar and I instantly grabbed my camera and got this shot of him coming towards me. He was gone in seconds...

This was taken at Potter marsh. The ice is getting pretty thin from all the warm weather that we have been having. Things are starting to poke through the ice. It reminds me of Hans Solo frozen in carbonite.

I now have a Tumblr. Don't know what I'm going to do with it, though. I also finally signed up for a Carbonite account, which will force me to organize my files. Eventually. You know, when I get some *free* time. :)

Oh, about the photo: everybody shoots this boat, I think. It's on private property, but the owners are cool enough to have a "take only pictures, leave only footprints" reminder along the path. That's pretty cool.

Han Solo in carbonite.

Not much to say on this one, but I was inspired by this old post www.flickr.com/photos/94375000@N03/9374232169/in/photolis... To cut up one of my many extra old Boba Fett helmets and paint myself a more updated version using said helmet.

The Helmet, Jetpack (which is the modern version), torso, cuffs and arms are all painted. The hips are Han Solo's, and the legs are from the CMF Space Miner.

Personally I love how it turned out, and am stoked to have an old-school Fett helmet that can rotate.

Let me know what you think!

Tenuous, no. I picked a random song and a not so random Star Wars scene and hey presto. The j geils band do carbonite. A match made in heaven……its "Freeze Frame!" :-)

For the first time, on Saturday, OMYA ran tours of their Tatlock Quarry, an impressive marble (calcium carbonate) quarry in Lanark County in Eastern Ontario. We only discovered this at the last minute and headed to Tatlock in the dreary weather.

They ran several buses throughout the day, taking us all of the way to the bottom.

The rock is white although the patch that we see in this photo is not the purest corner in the deposit. When we got to the bottom, we were asked to stay near the bus, so this is what I took or at least one of the pano stitches that I took. This is a stitch of 7 vertical photos: the original being 9330px wide and 32.5mb.

The Tatlock Quarry in Lanark County mines a type of marble created from metamorphosed Precambrian limestone. It was formed 1.2 billion years ago and has been mined one way or another for almost hundred years but only extensively in the last three decades or so.

The quarry is roughly 1km long, .5km wide, and 120 metres deep. It is expected that it will remain productive for at least another 40 years although it will likely be three times wider and deeper by then.

When the rock is exhausted or becomes cost ineffective, the area will be restored to a natural state that harmonizes with the surrounding area. The bottom will fill with water and could become part of a very nice recreational area.

Meanwhile, the calcium carbonate will be used in products such as paints, plastics, carpet backing, floor tiles, and packaging.

There are four more photos in Comments (clickable), the first two taken from the bus. The photos confirm that it was a dreary day, in the bus or out of it. Indeed, they are almost monochromatic sepia in tone. I am sure that the white rock gleams on a sunny day. In fact, I can testify that it does.

It was fun. Thanks OMYA.

I'm still at Jabba's Palace. My camera has taken pictures of different situations in the past three days. I have witnessed many unusual oddities here. It seems that Han Solo is carbonized again. How many times this has been, I do not know. Boushh is negotiating with Bib, but but for some reason Bib's face alone will tell you that the negotiations is not doing very well. And Jabba is totally out of this world, either concentrating for a drinks and food or just about to take a nap. However, Chewbacca carries a secret weapon, the frying pan! Perhaps he intends to offer to cook a fried frogs for Jabba, so that he would release Han finally!

I hope I can one day dare to show the rejected scenes from this photo session. In fact, there are quite a few of them and some are just trash stuff, but I try to keep them in a safe place and upload them here when I cannot think anything else to upload. This, however, pleased me most of all and shall be here now.

I was itching to build some more in my Chibi scale, but wanted to try making them smaller, so I came up with Mini-Chibi scale. Here's Boba Fett jamming out on his guitar plugged into a newly-repurposed Han in carbonite. Whatcha think?

I am king of all I see, my kingdom for a voice.

Old man don't lay so still, you're not yet young,

There's time to teach, point to point,

Point observation, children carry reservations.

Standing on the shoulders of giants, leaves me cold, leaves me cold.

A main idea to call my own, a hundred million birds fly away.
