Ireland was hit with a succession of Winter Storms last year. I managed to get to experience some of the build up before it got to wet windy and dangerous..
Not quite sure what the building is, I believe it's something to do with some sort of youth activity project at St John's in the Vale.. great view towards Blencathra.
Building work going on at Battersea Power Station, as they turn it into luxury flats. In front trains enter and leave Victoria Station, with some heading into sidings and sheds. The chimneys on the power station have now all been replaced with replicas, however it will be a while before the rest of the work is finished.

The Lloyd's building (sometimes referred to as the Inside-Out Building) is the home of the insurance institution Lloyd's of London. It's a leading example of radical Bowellism architecture in which the services for the building, such as ducts and lifts, are located on the exterior to maximise space in the interior.

Wollaton Hall is an Elizabethan country house of the 1580s standing on a small but prominent hill in Wollaton Park, Nottingham, England. The house is now Nottingham Natural History Museum, with Nottingham Industrial Museum in the outbuildings. The surrounding parkland has a herd of deer, and is regularly used for large-scale outdoor events such as rock concerts, sporting events and festivals.
Wollaton is a classic prodigy house, "the architectural sensation of its age", though its builder was not a leading courtier and its construction stretched the resources he mainly obtained from coalmining; the original family home was at the bottom of the hill. Though much re-modelled inside, the "startlingly bold" exterior remains largely intact.
Wollaton Hall was built between 1580 and 1588 for Sir Francis Willoughby and is believed to be designed by the Elizabethan architect, Robert Smythson, who had by then completed Longleat, and was to go on to design Hardwick Hall. The general plan of Wollaton is comparable to these, and was widely adopted for other houses, but the exuberant decoration of Wollaton is distinctive, and it is possible that Willoughby played some part in creating it. The style is an advanced Elizabethan with early Jacobean elements.
Father to son, husband to wife
Brother to brother, black man to white
Living together, falling apart
Looking for the common ground in every human heart
It all comes down to the two of us
Yeah this is where we start
We are building the bridge
One small stone at a time
With a lot of love
And some help from above
From your heart to mine
Theres a land of justice, cities filled with pride
A mountain of hope, just on the other side
Across a river of indifference, and a valley of despair
Theres a tower of courage, piercing through the air
I have a dream for our children, I want to take them there
And we are building the bridge
One small stone at a time
With a lot of love
And some help from above
From your heart to mine
As we seek out understanding
As we learn to forgive
When we open up our minds
When our words are true and kind
We are building the bridge
REO Speedwagon

"Strykjärnet"; The Flatiron building in Visby, Gotland, Sweden
"The Flatiron Building, or Fuller Building as it was originally called, is located at 175 Fifth Avenue in the borough of Manhattan, and is considered to be one of the first skyscrapers ever built. Upon completion in 1902 it was one of the tallest buildings in New York City. The building sits on a triangular island block at 23rd Street, Fifth Avenue, and Broadway, anchoring the south (downtown) end of Madison Square."

This place is the new building near the royal field and the Emerald budha temple. I don't know what is this place called because it is in the construction. As I guess the place may be a new museum or government building.
