The driver of 47.328 adds a bit more momentum to the Mountfield gypsum as it passes through Tonbridge.A train that l am sure Adrian had experience of.As l recall the 47's had of all the classes of loco that worked this train the shortest duration.

A freightliner service for Felixstowe approaches March with 47246 at the head. It changed crews here and according to my notes occupied the Ely bound platform from 11.07 until 11.17 whilst this took place. February 9th 1983.

Yesterday was a beautiful day, we took Xziva with us for a day of going to several thriftshops.
Maybe not too much fun for her but she likes being with us and waits very patiently in the car.
We went to MacDonalds for a coffee and a salad and she could come too, they even brought her a bowl of water !!! Can dogs come into MacDonalds in other countries too ???? we are lucky !!
Then we saw this place that looked great for a walk and lucky us it had a doggie trail so she got to run free !!!
Back at the car i took this shot to have these wonderful fall colours as a backdrop, the sun even gave her eyes almost the same colour, although that only shows when you really zoom in.
It was a fun and good day :)

Im home sick today :(
But nothing can make me feel better then a field of yellow flowers. Can't get enough of them. I also made a new friend, Carlos the spider! He crawled on my sweater and i freaked out and then i dropped him and i felt bad..:(

It was raining today when I found this ant on top of a leaf, and I think we both were longing for the sun.
I have only 5 days left until my vacation, so I hope the weather becomes better in the end of next week.
Soo lovely and Sunny. I've been sat outside reading at college today. I really can't explain how much I'm loving this weather.
And it seems Danbo's enjoying it, too!
This week's assignment in the Assignment 52 group is aperture control. I'm asked to take three photos... one each with a wide, mid and small aperture. This is my entry for the f8-11 middle aperture photo, shot at f8.
Stobist Info: white card immediately behind subject opposite camera, SB800 at 1/32 shot onto the white card... maybe 12 inches from the card and to the right of the subject, triggered with on-camera flash set at 1/128 power. White balance on camera set for Tungsten.
