Qui impegnato nella corsa Firenze Cascine/Empoli limitato a Montelupo non so per quale motivo, dove farà cambio banco e riprenderà un'altra corsetta da Montelupo a Firenze Cascine.

... that is how many seconds have gone by here at the Bend in the Snake River looking towards the Grand Tetons. This was captured in the very early morning, during blue hour. I warmed the white balance here for a more pleasant tone I think. The wide view really beings the clouds and reflection to life I think, it is allows me to clone out the branches that were in the foreground at the very left side corner ... of course that is where I placed the watermark too ;)
But I do like this WB better with the long exposure effect on those clouds. This was captured before some of the fog rolled in that glorious morning there.
Oxbow Bend
A walk with my dog this morning revealed that our severe drought had brought down this favorite old tree. Its just a tree, its been dead for decades, I haven't seen any eagles use the next for years. I snapped this on the way to Antietam Battlefield on the side of RT 65 in MD. I pulled over, decided i would pass on the picture, got back in my car. Then on the way back i stopped again, got out, and followed through with what you see above. Im glad i did! [Explored on 4/3/13]

Nothing special to this shot: 18-135mm kit lens and built-in flash.
