Happy Fence Friday everyone :-)

Ok, the fence bit was pushing it with this one, but it's been kicking around on my hard drive for a while, and thought today was a good a day as any, to upload it.

Out of the hand HDR (3xp, no tripod, Photomatix)

I told you that when summer is over, I'll be the one to make the announcement !!! Trying to absorb one of the last beautiful summer sunsets on Kariani's artificial harbour, I accidentaly found among the rocks this old chair made of wood and natural straw. It was used by the local land fishermen during their overnight fishing "adventures" and it was abandoned when its straw lattice had been destroyed. A scene that deffinitely announces the end of a period. The end of the 2010 summer season ... Be patient my friends and let's hope that the winter ahead of us is not going to be a long and cold one ....

EXIF: Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZX1, ISO 125, f 3,3, focal length 4,5 mm, HDR made by three original shots with shutter speeds 1/60 s, 1/125 s, 1/250 s accurately conveying the scene's exact lighting conditions to the viewer, flash did not fire ...

I wanted to grasp the yellowish hue of the surrounding environment on this amazing April afternoon ... I wanted to capture the aggressively beautiful character of the Spring season ... I wanted to enclose Nature's amazing costume inside my camera's sensor ....

Think this is known as "Manchester Grey" - fairly dull and a sky as flat as it gets, but due to how still conditions were this morning, it gave some really good reflections..

HDR Photo taken last week on the way for lunch at the loop. This is a sister to this image.

More digging through unprocessed shots from Baros earlier in the year. What I would give to be back there right now! ;)

For those that took part in this week's challenge, the vote is now up at the blog

PS Just realised that this was my 300th upload :)
