Last saturday we had our Survival for dogs and owners, such a fun but wet day !!
Sorry for my lack of commenting, had guests over the weekend and am now having a cold from being so wet at the survival !

These are some of my cups and saucers, some from my Nan (now departed) and some from the charity shop around the corner. Today the cups went on tour. Imagine if you will the mad photography lady of Guildford wrapped up in ski gear with camera bag and satchel full of vintage crockery. Add to that one very mental spaniel and a very steep snowy walk up to the top of St Marthas hill. I was blimin boiling by the time I got up there! And then I couldn't quite work out what to do with my cups! I know it's a little burnt out across the back but the whole photo makes me chuckle... expect to see a lot more of these cups during my 366....

That is how many angels I count in this one image, and that doesn't include the plethora of cherubs seen just about everywhere you don't see an angel.
This is a rework of my February 2010 shoot inside New Bedford's Saint Anthony of Padua Parish.
I tried to photograph the interior this this year for the Christmas but was told that "the floors would not be waxed in time". Not sure what that meant. I also asked to photograph the interior at night but was told I would not be able to do that either because the cost to light the place up is too high...
Oh well, for now, this will have to do.

There's something slightly surreal about the feeling of belonging of a true friendship. It's the closest thing to that 'finding the love of your life' feeling that cheesy films talk about. And I'm an amazingly lucky person, because I haven't just find my 'soulmate', I've been given two of them. And 10 years down the road, it's still surreal but magnificent.

A few attempts here and some help from Andy, meant this finally fell in the water facing the camera...It was camera shy before, and I just had a lot of pictures of the peel!

This week's Bestill52 theme is breakfast. Even though I'm an obsessed egg person, the color of the grapefruit brightened this snowy day.
