Today I had a total different plan for today's picture. But I saw these trees in the water and just HAD to do something with it. It's not that great though but I had the wrong lense with me and it was really really wet there so my big boots were covered in mud D: So glad I wasn't wearing my Vans or anything, they would have drowned :P
I tried something different with the editing. Turned out my uv-filter was very filthy which gave the pictures a dreamy look and I thought it was fun to edit them a bit more dreamy as well :)

in Barbados we don't have seasons, really. we dont have the long wait for flowers to bloom, or the anticipation (welcomed to some and not so much to others), of the chill, the snow. No bodies covered with turtle necks and boots, with a slow metamorphosis to shorts and bikinis. i cant tell you how much i miss this.. what is static throughout the world, however, is that seasons come and go - and so do people in our lives. as i remind them, enjoy each day, spring will always turn to summer, and summer will always turn to fall. hold on tight.. seasons will change.

I had a fantastic day today - and the weather was absolutely perfect!
I always go through an internal battle when I end up with a photo like this. I love the fragility, the pureness, the neutrality of someone who is not wearing clothes in a photograph, but on the other hand there is always this big loud voice saying "BUT WHAT WILL PEOPLE THINK???". I actually didn't put the photo I liked best in one of my other 365's because of that voice. Not that there was anything to see, much like in this photo, but we all know the power of suggestion is something people can trip over.
My entire life I have let above question rule over what I can do and what I can't do. I go out of my way to not do or be something others will feel uncomfortable with. To the very point of pretending to be something I am not, in an effort to fit into their little box. Somebody once asked me if it wasn't exhausting to be pushing myself like this the entire time and the answer is... Yes. It draws from you. And maybe this all would be worth it if this world had made any effort at all at trying to make ME feel more at ease. This is not the case. I have gotten all kinds of crap trying not to step on any toes. The mere fact of me being present has been enough for that. Some people will just not ever like what you do or who you are no matter what.
So from now on I'm going to be doing less listening to that voice, and start listening more to my own.

Which is actually harder than it sounds but oh well. I've no inspiration today ahhhhhhh and idk what to photograph and school days annoy me so yea. :D But you can't complain because look at that cat face!
Ahhhhhhhhhh it's nearly the weekend again ahhhhhh the few days I long for!
One last thing: I want Macro lens thingies soooo badly it's not even funny :P

OH AND: to anybody who owns a Canon DSLR, have any of you noticed the huuuuuuuge file size?! I assume if I 'turn down' the quality about, it'll go down, so i'm wondering what is best? THANKS IN ADVANCE ♥
