38, photos on Flickr

I hadn't played with textures before yesterday, and I am not sure it is something I will incorporate in my photos in the future, but whilst it last I am set to enjoy myself with them!

I read a quote on Andrzej Dragan's website that I liked (It is from a David Lynch movie that I haven't seen so just the meaning matters)

"I like to remember things my own way. How I remembered them, not necessarily how they happened"

It really put my mind at ease, because my photos aren't about what I see, but about what I want to see. I've always had conflicting thoughts about making a "true" rendition of reality. And I got a lot of grief out of trying that because it is impossible to replicate reality, and sometimes, it is also boring!

I started this project to try to find my colour. I know there is a long path to walk... but I also know now that I won't find it in nature or in photoshop, but inside myself.

I'm going to keep trying this, as I know I can do much better.

I certainly want a longer exposure, and a smoother road would help!

Today is the official end of my spring break project.

We all can see that I haven't got to upload 25 pictures. It makes me feel like a horrible person... actually it doesn't, but I tried to make this more dramatic..:)

The thing is that I took many more pictures in this period that I haven't processed yet, so I will upload them later on, still being part of the project. There's also a couple of ideas I have written down which I may also add to it, I don't know for sure yet. We'll see :) Now enjoy the photo as much as I enjoy cool greens and cyans atm! :>
