The following is a photo of me immediately next to what can only be described as a 'giant hole' in the side of the Pearl River Tower, China. Below is a 300m drop.
A visit to the RHA gallery to look at Richard Mosse's "The Enclave" I felt I was a bit underdressed. The colour of the evening was clearly Red.
Great exhibition, powerful images and I am so glad I made it.
This was an unplanned photo today. As I walked to my car after work the golden sun was so pretty as it was setting that I felt compelled to take a shot. Fun fact-parking garages are good for parking your car and for spinning in the sunlight.
Having some fun with grapes. Of course I managed to get carried away (and almost ended up late for swimming). So much fun to be had with these.
Peacehaven is about to get wet....very wet. As the huge rainclouds sweep east, there was at least a little light on the horizon.
I love that in this day and age you can wake up in a house and not know where you are, and everyone else is sleeping and your phone can help you find your way home. It was a gorgeous day for a drive and this is right before I saw what I can only guess was a snowy owl. I had my doubts but when I got home, Sam told me about this.

Almost on a whim Libby & I met up aiming to take some photos of Oxford Street's Christmas lights.
We met far too early for any photos - the traffic was stationary and the pavements heaving. So we killed some time in the John Lewis yarn department...
When we emerged both motor & pedestrian traffic was lighter. We set up tripods at various points along Oxford Street, some points rather more potentially dangerous than others.
Photographing the lights sort of turned into hoping to get some bonus light trails. I took so many shots, they have all begun to look identical tbh. I was torn as to which should be my HPAD, but in the end I had to go for Selfridges, which looks magnificent at the moment.

"And then he ran into my knife...he ran into my knife ten times..."-June in Chicago
I didn't take this shot today, but it seemed apt. I've just heard that my uncle died last overnight. He was quite elderly, and had been unwell a while. It's a sad loss, I hadn't seen him for a few years, but I was very fond of him, he was a wonderful storyteller.
He was also a stauch West Ham supporter, so in his honour... I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles
52 weeks of Pix - Week 8 - Movie Title': 'Paper Heart'
114 Pics in a Year - 'Represent a TV show/Film in your image'
The film is an American romantic comedy about the old adage 'Does true love really exist!'
I cut out paper tissue hearts and then placed them on a light box, with a texture applied in photoshop.
