The roof of my daughters car on a frosty May morning - was up early and out with my camera before the sun melted the frost away!
"#1 taken on 04/01/14". This is the theme from the '52 weeks of 2014' group. My old favourite perfume is finished and my lovely husband bought me a new one for Christmas, so out with the old bottle and in with the new! I wanted to have a play with lighting bottles in my studio and I'm pretty pleased with the result, could do with some tweaking but needed to get image uploaded!
A long drive around the wild hills of Cavan lead to some interesting discoveries. The weather was misty and cool but when your standing in a river it's all the same really. Shot in the Cuilcaigh Mountains near Swanlinbar.
A quick shot tonight, practising some editing and levitation type shots.
Also a couple of different colour backgrounds - my favourite is the blue.
A chance photo today: I went on the roof to capture the first sun set photo of the year, when a lone seagull offered the chance for a silhouette.

To me, there's nothing more warm and cozy than a big hot drink on a chilly evening!

This was a quick MOC last night, when I was making a ship with the dude (inspired by the Lego movie I would imagine).
I'm sure this could take on a whole new mood with a different head. I did consider Emmett for a while, but that may not have been awesome.

Quails eggs
The eggs of the smallest European game bird, the diminutive quail, are about the size of a very large olive, with an attractive brown speckled shell. They have a higher proportion of yolk to white compared to a hen’s egg, and a slightly stronger flavour, but can be treated in much the same way.
They are a common ingredient in Japanese bento boxes, and soft-boiled quails’ eggs are a popular canapé in this country, often paired with celery salt. They may also be used hard-boiled and as a garnish.
