I know many photographers have taken this type of image...but was another comp on my list that I wanted to try. This was taken from the river front in Windsor, Ontario looking toward Detroit, Michigan.
I could go on at length about the hours and the quarters I poured into video arcades when I was a kid. That would probably get really boring really fast.
All I will say is: This shot makes me very, very happy.

Like Most Men my age, I grew Up in an Era where Comic Books where the daily digest in my town. In those days a graphic novel was a mere 25cents and you could buy 12 books for $3.00 I think thats about the average price of one magazine these days. LOL Anyway.....I Thrived on reading Marvel & DC Comics by the time I was 13 I had well over 2,500 or more. and I kept mine in the protective plastic bags and boxed according to hero or the group that they were in*
I even learned how to draw from reading these things and wanting to emulate what I saw everyday. Boy Stan Lee really had a major Impact on my childhood! Dark Knight/Detective Comics & The X-Men were always my favorite comics. And like most "Wolverine & Batman" were my fav. characters. It wasnt until much, much later on in life that these Superheroes were made into major motion picture Idols.
With the rise of technology and special effects Hollywood has been able to produce what I read for so many years on the silver screen. I think if I had to choose being one of these Superheroes in "real life" it would Most Def. have to be
"THE DARK KNIGHT"..........:))

A few years ago, I was going to camp in Prescott and my family got there too early to check in so we went to the ourtdoor market they have on the weekends. My friend and I ran across this little stand with vintage pins for 25cents each and we loaded up on a ton. They're all fantastic and I don't think I wear them nearly enough so lately I've been trying to fix that. They're a fun way to take an otherwise serious, fancy outfit and add a dash of humor.

A famous ancient restaurant is renovating on rue Racine, Chicoutimi downtown. They tripped the whole building to find this old advertisement for Winchester cigarette. 20 for 25cents, that has to be a 100 years ago.
Then people felt in love with this old historic wall but it will go down sooner or later. Anyway this would be illegal to have such advertisement for cigarette.
On the other side of the Ohio River, the lights of downtown Louisville glimmer. 25 cents will give you a closer view.

This is actually a picture of my M8, If u look closely. Just kidding... but really look closely. This is an image of street-side-mobile-food-stall (human power). A nice satisfying 25cents dinner with the choice of standing up or plastic chair with the view of passing car 1 meter in front of you. And the food is goooood
I've always imagined taking a picture like this and it felt like the perfect opportunity so, here it is!
OH and if you look beyond the last mountain... you can barely see it in the photo but, from that high up you can see 5 states, its so sweet!
I also remember taking a photo where you can see the 5 states very clearly.. I might upload that depending on how it turned out! ;)
Instructed to make 10+ power point presentations with the theme of 'profitability', I found I didn't like most images I found on Google Image Search and we sure weren't paying shutterstock prices for a couple presentations!
So I made my own.
