A day of travel - up at 6.30am after the Taylor Swift gig to walk to Piccadilly Station, catch the train to the airport - flight delayed an hour - fly to Stuttgart, catch S-Bahn to the Hauptbahnhof, then a two hour journey in a carriage with limited air-conditioning to Nürnberg. Check in at the hotel, shower, chill and sleep...

160 became 46023 under TOPS. It later went into Departmental service as 97402 in 1983. I think it was backup loco to 97401 (46009) which was destroyed in the famous staged crash into a nuclear flask in 1984. 97402 appears to have been withdrawn from Departmental stock soon after.

Day 160
30th March 2011
2nd day of not having to go into work, weird. Managed to tick another chore of my list when my Mum helped me with the defrosting of our freezer. To be fair she did most of it as I really struggle to bend down to do much now with my 35 week bump in the way! But I supervised LOL.
Chap had preschool this afternoon, he really didn't want to go, was having far too much fun having Grandma AND Mummy to play with! Think he had fun though when he was there :) I'm looking forward to going to his first parent's evening on Friday to find out what he's been getting up to when we're not there ;)
Been playing with my camera some more today, absolutely loving the fact that I can use my 50mm on autofocus with this camera. I had got used to manual focus but this will be so helpful at low light levels! So chuffed with it. It's a great camera!
